Fantastic away win. Rooney getting the deciding goal was a bonus. There is no doubting he is a terrific finisher but its clear to see he has lost a yard of pace. The second one on one chance in which Martial put him through looked as though he was really struggling to get to goal!

LVG got the tactics and personnel spot on today. The interchanging of Mata/Herrera/Martial caused all kinds of problems for everton. We dominated the match pretty much from start to finish and kept a clean sheet despite lukaku being allowed to assault our centrebacks.

Its these types of results that will win us the league. Huge 3 points away from home in a traditionally difficult place for us. Probably one of the best away performances in recent memory.

Great game. Martial, DDG, and Mike and Herrera were brilliant.The team as a whole was good, Herrera showed how much difference a good no. 10 makes. Martial did well, but this is not his best position, he should be up front.

Can't fault one player today, they all played well. Rojo made a couple of mistakes but looked otherwise pretty solid. Jones stepped up well. Smalling did a great job dealing with the most difficult striker in the league (bar Aguero) and Schweinsteiger provided composure in the middle.

Herrera should now have proved himself beyond any doubt to Louis who will now have to figure out when and how to play or drop Mata/Rooney to accommodate Herrera ahead of the midfield 2.

Even Rooney had a decent game. Superb result.

Amazing what a different side this is with Herrera in it. He is everywhere on the pitch, he's positive, he reads the game, he presses, he's cheeky dirty like Scholes, his passes put the opposition on their heels. If he is healthy and not in need of rest, there simply cannot be a Manchester United squad fielded without number 21.

I agree, as long as martial isn't shunted. Despite a good performance, this is the first game for us that he didn't provide a goal or assist. It should be Rooney or Mata for the RF position,
