Wrong time to reintroduce either Smalling or Jones back into the team. They usually take a few games to get into the groove and are susceptible of making a mistake or two in the first few games they are back.
Weird to say that when we just had three centerbacks plus two midfielders return to training.Unfortunately I doubt we are going to get to the finals, the injuries are just too many and still piling up. They will come at us this first match and I would not be shocked to see them score 3.
Depends on the outcome of this game, I guess. If we somehow miraculously finish the tie tomorrow, we could take the return leg a bit easy and go for it at Emirates. 3 points there would be golden for keeping that top 4 window open.If they're back then play them against Arsenal
Bailly, Pogba, Mata, Smalling, Jones - all in training

Less of this crap please.
I can almost guarantee that if we had beaten Swansea people would be optimistic for this game.Weird to say that when we just had three centerbacks plus two midfielders return to training.
When was the last time we conceded more than 2 goals though? Chelsea like 6 months ago?Okay everything is perfect, we will win 6-0 just like we have proven we do week in and week out. There does that make you happier.

Thank the Lord! Pogba, Bailly and Mata could be massive tomorrow. With Jones and Smalling giving Bailly a rest over the weekend.
I'd say they are pretty similar to Swansea playerwise, so we have to play better then against Swansea (or Hull, Boro...) if we wanna get into the final. It's no given in this season, unfortunately. But it would be quite embarrassing if we wouldn't reach the finalI can almost guarantee that if we had beaten Swansea people would be optimistic for this game.
Celta are a very good team and mustn't be underestimated but we are favourites for a reason.
It will be interesting to watch this game from the point of view of a PL v La Liga clash. If La Liga is better than the PL, a team like Celta should be considered very strong challengers for the trophy, despite now being firmly in the lower half of the table (due to their strategy for these games, I hasten to add )
In Vigo, they have a clock showing the countdown to the start of the game, as if it was a moon-landing ! They really are out to go though, although this may handicap them to some extent.

Who are the two young lads in the second photo up? Tuanzebe and?
I read that Celta rested 8 of their players last Sunday!! They are obviously really going for it
Was that the Sid Lowe article in the Guardian? I'm crapping it after reading that. They've basically given up the league several weeks ago and have been resting all their best players for the Europa. Plus they play an aggressive high press and run their legs off. Basically, our kryptonite. The cherry on the shit cake will be an ex-Liverpool player scoring the goals that put us out.
We coped just fine with Liverpool. We will do so in Spain too.
Pretty much this. This is our season. Right here. Nothing but 100% balls out will do, and not the shitfest we endured against Swansea.
