They're very like the Bilbao we lost to, aren't they?

A similar style, yes. Not surprising as Berizzo served under Bielsa as a player and an assistant. Decent article here on Celta's strengths, weaknesses and style of play:

Celta boss Eduardo Berizzo looked to compatriot Marcelo Biesla for inspiration and advice. His side will try and play like Bielsa’s Athletic Bilbao side which knocked United out of the 2011-12 Europa League, with a fast counter-attacking style using combative players who operate a zonal marking system defensively. Celta have already beaten Barcelona and Madrid at home this season - and been hammered 5-0 by Barça away.

Berizzo makes good use of his substitutes; he doesn’t have a settled starting XI and his formation usually resembles a 4-2-3-1.

    Starting line-ups
    Confirmed team news
Romero, Bailly, Pogba, Lingard, Blind, Rashford, Herrera, Mkhitaryan, Valencia, Fellaini, Darmian.

Fellaini can play so not too much of an issue.

Dreading the Arsenal game after this more, think we will get a draw here.

    Still watching the league?

I tuned off some games ago. Gave up completely on the top four race. It's like the team is cursed in that competition. No more crazy emotional roller-coasters for me.

Going to enjoy the rest of the Europa League though. I have a good feeling about it. Money is on United to lift the trophy.

4-3-3 with Bailly, Darmian, Fellaini and Lingard.

    Romero

    Valencia Bailly Blind Darmian

    Fellaini Herrera Pogba

    Lingard Rashford Mkhi

United subs: De Gea, Mata, Rooney, Martial, Smalling, Carrick, Young.

Missed Lingard and Romero but I think Lingard is an understandable choice for defensive efforts on the flank. Strange to start Romero over De Gea entering this part of the competition and with such a shaky defense.

Expect a boring game with a score draw hopefully.

Romero's not put a foot wrong really, would have been incredibly harsh to drop him for this.

    Strange.

Martial and Mata on the bench. Should be a valuable subs if we're down which I hope not.

That leaves Tuanzebe and Jones as the 19th and 20th men to miss out.

Hope not starting David in such an important game doesn't cost us tbf.

No complaints with that team. So happy to see Pogba and Bailly back back.

Fair fecks to Mourinho for putting faith in Romero. He's got us this far and it would be harsh to drop him now. I expected him to be pragmatic and go for De Gea but sticking by Romero is a huge injection of confidence for the lad.

11 out of 11. First time this season. Wo hoo. He was always gonna play Romero, and rightly so, guy hasnt put a foot wrong

We really need Pogba and Herrera to be on top form tonight - this game will call for some top leadership in the middle.

How Lingard is starting is beyond me and not playing DDG is just bloody stupid. Reading into this Jose believes he can raise some cash selling DDG and buy a backup keeper to Romero, who may have done well against dross but his decision making is atrocious.

Romero for De Gea. I hope we dont end up regretting that

I'm pretty optimistic about tonights game. As much as I think Celta is good, their defence isn't as strong as their offence in my opinion. So I guess the game will end 1-2. Goals from Rashford and Mata.

I think it will pretty much go the way we've been playing in the Europa so far. We'll play well away, miss good chances, throw away a lead and end up with a draw but we'll finish them off at home.

Ajax vs United final for me.

Good line. Considering the injuries. Lingard is there for his work rate, and we need Miki to put a shift in to. Press them high up the pitch

Do you remember any of his big mistakes. Also this doesn't mean we're selling DDG ffs.

Whats shaky about it? Doesn't matter which partnership we have played this season they have been consistently solid.
