These feckers still can’t keep the ball, they’re not as good as everyone thinks they are without a certain profile of player, but this 1-0 and sit back nonsense still needs to stop.
Probably something along the lines of ‘we’re still in control’.I would LOVE to see the half time team talk from Gareth.
Rio had a moan about him too?He slated him for not pressing. Rio was the one glazing Kane. What are you watching?
Well, that is kind of how an international team works. It’s like a collection of random footballers were put in a team at random
Er, no. TAA can be poor and the team can be structurally poor. You’ve contradicted yourself from the 3rd to the 4th sentence.
Very obviously. Southgate is one of the worst managers I've ever seen.Id rather have moyes back
Also just doesn't offer any sort of running in behind threat, which with this wingers is exactly what you need.Alan Shearer called out people who questioned Kane after he scored a goal.
Then you see his part in the goal England conceded, dropping so deep to get on the ball from a throw in of all things. Then later in the half he is trying to be Messi on the edge of his defensive area and try dribbling out.
He scores goals, but hampers England in how he drops deep too often and can't engage in a press.
When he was camping up front against Serbia he touched the ball once in 45 minutes or something. This team is completely incapable of giving him service if he plays like an out and out striker. Why the feck is Kane everywhere but up front?
Understatement of the year.It is my understanding that the English are quite dissatisfied with Gareth Southgate's managerial work?
My point is they don’t seem to have undergone any kind of coaching the way they are playingWell, that is kind of how an international team works.
Yeah, the left flank is broken. Obvious issue before the tournament.Agreed. I hated the fact that he didn't pick a LB. It's so frustrating watching the ball make it to Trippier, and he cuts back on to his right every single time. Having even an average LB would be better than this.
The left side is awful.
Because England have been on defensive. He don't do that mumbo jumbo stuff.TAA is invisible. He provides nothing. Foden has been slightly better. Overall we are poor though.
Yeah, but us Welsh, Scots and Irish are very happy with it, so he should probably get another couple of tournaments. It is my understanding that the English are quite dissatisfied with Gareth Southgate's managerial work?
They just remind me of Manchester United so muchI don't buy that. We weren't looking good before the 1-0 lead either. Here's the thing so far in 3 halves of football we've scored 2 goals both quite lucky as well. 1 deflected cross and one mistake by the defender followed by multiple deflections on a pass.
Even when we are controlling the ball, we're toothless. Compare this to the amount of chances Germany/Spain create against teams that sit deep it's night and day.
To be fair this match has reminded me alot of Moyes last season, alot of getting the goal and then just defending what you have, hoping for the counter. Mind you at least with West Ham last year there was some structure to our attacking lineup, at the moment that feels like its lacking with England.Very obviously. Southgate is one of the worst managers I've ever seen.
Good people.. the best people..If Ratcliffe even for a second truly thought of Southgate replacing ETH, he should f*ck off right now
He'll leave it and make a change on 65mins. If we're ahead, closer to 75mins.What are the odds the horse faced rat will not change anything for the second half?
Agreed, should be a pundit, has no business coaching. If Ratcliffe even for a second truly thought of Southgate replacing ETH, he should f*ck off right now
Who questioned Kane?Alan Shearer called out people who questioned Kane after he scored a goal.

He's terrified to ever make a bold call of benching "names" for the actual right profile a team needs, or employing a more bold tactic. Even down to immediately turning to Gallagher off the bench for Trent last game even though Gallagher is probably the worst CM in the squad but offers "passion and fight".Southgate's ability to make a player as good as Foden look completely ineffective is impressive.
Alexander-Arnold shouldn't be playing in midfield. He doesn't play there for us (starts at RB and drifts in which is completely different). Trippier at LB limits England's options down that side with the ball.
Such a dull manager.
Agreed and even though Watkins was pretty shite in a recent friendly he offers that and drifts along the whole front line to interchange. Also just doesn't offer any sort of running in behind threat, which with this wingers is exactly what you need.
