Given the technique he displays in so many other aspects of the game, he isn't half clumsy with the ball at his feet.

Suprised he's got the stick he did in the match thread today. He wasn't amazing but he was directly involved in 3 goals today. We've struggled to bring our attacking midfielders into play in recent seasons and he does that brilliantly.

Still missed a couple of easy passes and goal chances. He can do much, much better. The assist to Rooney is just a taste of what is (hopefully) to come.

I thought it was very well deserved actually. It will always sound worse than it is when people don't like him no matter what but he was poor today. It's wierd to say that it was one of his worst performances in a United shirt when he was involved in 3 goals but apart from 4-5 situations he had a really bad game imo.
I'll take him playing badly and being directly involved in 3 goals every week.
Really needs to sharpen up and focus in front of goal. It's like he's trying to be being too natural with it and needs to actually try a bit harder to put the ball in the net.
Thought he was very good tonight. Great timing for Rooneys goal, was involved in Mata's, made the third and made a good run for what should of been a Mkhitaryan goal when Mickey ran through past everyone.
Thought he was awful tbh. Hold up play was shite continually giving the ball away and work rate non existent. He'll probably look alright in the highlights though
