It's typical that one of the most prolific strikers in the world turns in to one of the most wasteful as soon as he joins us. I swear we're cursed.
 
Cost me two good weeks on Fantasy football. Nevertheless, I believe when we are playing with an attacking intent, he will be more useful. On a side note, some of our strikers in the past few years is making Welbeck look clinical. Zlatan has missed a couple of good chances already this season

I'd currently have Chicharito over all our strikers.
 
He needs a goal to get back on track. You can see moments of quality when he quickly controls and passes but then other times he looks off the pace.
 
One of the worst performances I'v seen from a top player in a big game.
 
Honestly this is how he usually looks to me he's just the extremely poor version tonight against a solid team. The ball doesn't stick, no focal point for us, opposition cb's comfortable. Comes out on top once every 7-8 occasions.
 
First time I've been disappointed with him today. He's missed chances in other games, as all strikers do. Hasn't held the ball up at all today.
 
He hasn't been great but he's been getting kicked late every time he gets it and not getting a foul. Bailly got booked for less.
 
I'd give him one more match after this and then drop him if he doesn't improve. Although it would be hard to be any worse than tonight. He's been absolute fecking shite.
 
This was always going to be a difficult game. Totally alone up front and not a lot of chances created. Also keep in mind a player like Sturridge didn't score as well. Very tight game.
 
Awful. Needs the side building around him if he's going to do well.
 
Yet another piss poor performance. Like Rooney, his selection is fine when he's contributing to goals but he's doing nothing right now. Yet another easy chance missed in yet another big game and yet more fouling for 90 mins. Sadly, he's undroppable and unsubbable as well.
 
Cost us points with big misses against City, Stoke and now this game! In France you might get 10 chances a game, in the Premier league you do not. Not good enough so far.

He had one really good chance and he messed it up which is something he does in every game off late.

Thing is though if we are going to soak up pressure to counter teams, why on earth you play him or keep him on the pitch after the first hour?

Played Like how Fellaini would playing up front. I have noticed that his alround play is horrendous now. It has been masked by goals and fair enough, that's what a striker has to do, but when he is not scoring it sticks out.

Largely because we have no other centre forwards really.

This is what has been most disappointing about him. I expected him to combine some good football, passing and finishing. He just can't linkup well with anyone at all.
 
I'll say it again, he looks like van Persie looked in his last season here. I really hope he can do better than he did so far this season because I think his performamces are far from great. I have no idea why he isn't getting any criticism for his hold up play, it's average however you look at it, and especially because he is the type of striker who is supposed to be good with players on his back since he isn't the type to run behind the defence.

If he continues playing like this I don't see why we shouldn't play Rashford instead of him.
 
He's costing us points in almost every game with his missed chances, It's time to start thinking about other options upfront because he's not doing his job right now.
