Honestly I think the fact people care about this is ridiculous.

We've had two seasons of players not taking risks and playing the simple pass simply to keep possession then Zlatan gets criticised for giving the ball away despite the fact that he's almost always trying to make something happen.

Pick which one you want. I know which I prefer.

I agree with that, generally. But at the same time, we're away to Leicester and couldn't string two passes together for the first half hour. I'd expect a player of his experience to engage his brain and calm things down a little.

If we're gonna go for a title we'll need miles better wingers than Rashford & Mata, and once Zlatan has that, he'll be miles better himself.

Our wide options are pretty naff game after game.

Agree with that too but I'd argue the entire thing needs a revamp in all honesty. We need blisteringly effective and dangerous widemen and a peak striker with flair and pace. Our defence is decent so revamp attack and we will definitely be title challengers.

Not true he was giving the ball away when he was trying to hit simple wall passes. He's actually more better when he takes risks and is proactive with the ball.

Sure, didn't mean to argue otherwise, but its a trade off, I'd much rather have Zlatan occasionally mucking up those passes but generally creating than a player who can recycle possession ad nauseam, but can't do shit with it when needed.

As long as he's scoring and trying to be inventive I am totally with you. Just saying in recent games and today before the goal he wasn't being dangerous he was being passive and still losing the ball. He's much better when he's aggressive and risky that's when he gets bum off seats.

I think the problem is whether its him, or Rashford or whoever, we simply just don't do a good enough job at getting them the ball, and – as a result – it means Zlatan gets judged on relatively few moments. Whoever plays up there needs to be involved more by the players around them; I think we're often really poor in the build up still and it leads to whoever plays up top (like Martial at Wigan as another example) to get unfairly blamed.

15 league goals now (20 in all competitions) very impressive from Zlatan. He's going to win the golden boot.

He got too many inferior players to his level around him but hopefully it will change more and more next season.

He can do better but still scoring and creating loads. Moments of absolute brilliance today.

20 goals this season and hes a fecking problem?? We would be fighting for the Europa league without him.

Great player. We need to rest him more often though, and sub him off when we've won the game.

Ibrahimovic is a top top player. I trust he could pass 20 in the league.

Other players need to step their game up, but Ibra also has to accept that he has to be rotated. He's always drifted through matches in his career but he's been class most times when it matters in matches.

Hopefully his influence in terms of mentality and ability will have an impact on our players well after he has gone.

#20 for the big man and I can't believe how many of our fans think he is the problem and we'll start playing brilliantly if Rashford/Martial are played through the middle instead of him. He is basically our goalscorer and creator, look at how many chances he creates per game.

The posters who shit on Ibra every week are more annoying than the Martial choirboys.

Great game, which was helped by Leicester's defence which was all over the place in all fairness. His hold up play and some of his passes like the one to Valencia late in the game were fantastic

Decent performance, I'm not keen on how he just stops dead when he loses the ball though, I think his lack of mobility and speed does hurt us in some games.

Some great dribbling, passing, and chance creations today. Physically I`d say hes probably one of the strongest players in the league

That pass to Valencia inside Fuchs (I think) toward the end where Miki blazed it over from the pull-back was brilliant, sheer class.

I never submit ratings on here, I've done it about 5 times all season as I keep forgetting.

Zlatan on 6.1 Caf average is laughable.

I thought he was very good today. Looked like he knew he had the beating of the (admittedly poor) Leicester defenders, and was just toying with them at times. He also made it count by scoring.

So that's 20 goals and 7 assists in 33 games, at 35 years old, in his first season in the Premiership, in a team still finding it's feet under Mourinho.

You have to say that's remarkable, and a testament to his quality.

As I said to the "doubters" at half time, once we get better at attacking and improve on our winger situation, Zlatan will move up a notch too, the second half was a prime example.

Still another top season or two in the big fella.

My same thoughts. I just can't understand people criticizing Ibra.

Where would we be without him this season? We'd be nowhere.

He's been a great signing.

Of course hes not been a problem, the problem is the rest havent chipped in to help.

I loved him putting the leicester player on his arse. Cant remember who it was? The only sad thing was Rashford for some reason decided to run behind him instead of into the box to get a pass to score. Was bizarre sequence.

Anyway good numbers for him. I think he would be in the box more if we could actually cross the ball more frequently. Too many times on the left its a one on one position for somebody, they then cut back and pass it or slow it down. Getting to the byline and crossing it would be great when you have Zlatan in there.
