Great finish.

The pass by Pogba was a good one but what a finish by Zlatan, it was the best possible finish you could ask for in that scenario. And then after the goal, he moved into a holding midfield role to ensure the win

Mourinho takes credit for that. It was tactical. Put Rashford and Lingard up top, Ibra in the middle and hit the wide areas to the pacey young players to relieve any pressure building up on us.

I had my reservations about him but his contribution has been great this season. Just what we've need in a front man since RvP.

His holdup play, touch, vision are all spot on. Amazing he didnt make it to England sooner

Quality game. Did everything well and a great finish for the winner.

Rooney should ask for tips now. Can't believe he's 4 years younger than Zlatan

I love this guy. Would love to have seen him here 10 years ago. But will enjoy his brilliance for as long as here.

He made my fecking night. All my money on Feyenoord, United and AS Monaco to win. Feyenoord trashed ADO 5-1

Monaco game is not over, but they're leading 6-0

What a man, what a fecking man

Becoming more and more apparent than Zlatan and Pogba are on a different level to the rest of our players going forward. Mkhi is on their level but the others aren't really doing it consistently. Martial might get there but is still young, Rooney is fading but still has his moments, Mata is close but no cigar, Rashford is raw. Our options at full back are all pretty average too. I actually think Lingard links up well with them as much as anyone recently.

Great performance, his hold-up play was excellent, he worked his socks off and that finish was class, then he took control of seeing out the game like a leader, ordering the younger players into positions up top while he dropped into midfield, brilliant!

He's old, but guy is a true champion. Out of the players on the pitch, none would finish like he did. Great precision that.

Its amazing that many fans wanted him benched (and probably still do)
The aim of football is to score goals. So lets bench our most prolific goal scorer in several years. :wenger:

On the handball for the goal, its not a handball for me. It hits his body regardless if his arm isnt there and would have gone in that direction due to the rotation of his body when laying it off.

I thought he was absolutely immense tonight. The goal, the hold-up play, the leadership, the lot. It was a pleasure watching him.

As good as the goal was, and boy was it good, my favourite part was him defending for us. It was incredible how deep he came after scoring and was just clearing ball after ball, winning header after header. I'd honestly, when we're leading and trying to see the game out, like to see him in that sort of position again.

I love that tonight he was making runs into the channels. So much opens up when he does it. He creates so much doing what he does, but I do like when he makes those runs. Did it v West Ham for his goal as well.

No problem keeping him for another year. He's proper, and doesn't look like slowing down particularly either.

Ahhh... that finish. Such a quality finish in difficult circumstances.

Nice little cameo in midfield too

Nah, it was a handball and play should have been stopped. However the ref chalked off perfectly fine goal as well as proved being clinically blind by denying us a stonewall penalty.

He's fantastic. 35 years old, yet you couldn't tell he's that old when you watch him on the pitch. Not only he's not slow, he's fast for his height IMO.

14 goals in 24 games is a fantastic return and he's playing 2-3 games per week without showing signs of being tired. What a guy! Fully deserves his contract extension.

Great game, cracking goal. But that should be the last free kick he takes for us he's fecking woeful at them.

The technique for the finish was great. He gets stick for missing easy chances on here from time to time but he really does make those difficult things look easy.
