If Arsenal don't wrap this up before the Euros then signing him would be a pipe dream. Bigger names who could offer more money and promise starting berths in squads that are better equipped to challenge for trophies would come in for him and him then choosing Arsenal would be very improbable.
 
Yes. No deal for M'Vila will happen before the Euros though. If he plays well, they'll be able to get more money.

Same here. Martinez would be hard to get and has "future Real/Barca tap-up" written all over him.

Hopefully we can sign this lad. It's the one sort of player I really feel we need to add.

Bloody Euros, if he plays well it's a problem. If he plays badly, same. Bollocks.

I am surprised Arsenal haven't pursued him strongly before the Euros. They have indicated they want him and he is happy to move to the Emirates.

Ahead of Song maybe? I thought most Arsenal fans rate Song highly?
 
Arsenal need to sort out RVP's contract before they can get quality players in.

Problem is the selling club will be thinking the exact opposite! Don't expect any players involved in the Euros to move before them.
 
I assumed he's cover for/rotation with Song. I don't see him playing ahead of Song and we'll probably use Wilshere/Arteta as Song's partner. Plus we should have Frimpong and Coquelin there or thereabouts as squad players next year.

Completely forgot about him. what a player. Makes even more sense Wenger not willing to spend 25mil for M'Villa, they have great quality in that position.

Ramsey and Wilshere. Wish we had 1 of them..
 
There's still a need for a player like M'Vila at the club. He's someone who'll genuinely sit back and play as a real DM in the difficult games away from home, allowing Song to be more creative.

So Song, M'Villa....

And who gets dropped was the question, Arteta or Jack. Cesc has already answered and thinks it'll be Arteta who I thought was their best midfielder last season.
