Yann M’Vila

So is he confirmed to qpr? Harry is building them quite a decent team, with the players they have should be enough for a mid table finish (if they had harry from the start that is).

Yep L'Equipe are reporting it as well, Rubin Kazan apparently. They're offering around 12M € to Rennes for him, and 4M € a year as salary. A bit disappointed if this materializes, I was looking forward to seeing him in England but it's a good fresh start for him I guess.

So, are they a tolerant bunch up there in Kazan? Or are we going to get a statement from their supporters group, telling us "White is right", in about 3 weeks?

When will these players learn? I am sure QPR offered a decent enough package.

He turned down a move to Zenit during the previous window... I wonder what happened for his stocks to have fallen so far in such a short time.

Confirmed to Rubin Kazan. This guy's career has certainly taken a turn for the worse over the last 18 months. I've only seen him play for France a couple times, but before the Euros he was my ideal long term CM solution.

Russia isnt exactly the place to go for you to get a fresh start. Racism is a huge problem as seen with Carlos, Witsel and Hulk. QPR might have been a better move for him in terms of football. If he came to England and played well, maybe he helps QPR stay up or if he plays and they do down anyway, he would have gained back some of his reputation and a good team would have bought him. It could have been a win-win situation for him at QPR and their pay isn't bad either.

It's a strange move as in spite of several big money moves for top players like Eto'o, Witsel and Hulk, Russian league isn't particularly strong and it's very difficult for top European clubs to price players away from over there. I thought at 22 his ambition would be to play in a top league and develop, even QPR would have made more sense.

That's the way I see it. Regardless of any racism issues. The Russian clubs spend quite a bit of cash and it makes it hard for players to leave. Whereas at QPR, even if the club went down there would be interest from elsewhere and he could quite easily rejuvenate his career.

TBF H wanted out of Rennes bad. It's not his fault EPL clubs and others dragged their heels. At tleast this way he also doubles or trebles his pay check.

Complete lack of ambition. I'd use the same logic for the other aforementioned mercenary wasters who play there.
