I do overuse that word tbh and my job possibly influences my posting style at times.
What I've most found distasteful is people automatically rejecting the woman's claim cos surely every woman wants to bang him or they are a fanboy of him.
 
I really wonder what queen of the damned motivation was. It clearly wasn’t for followers, I checked her Instagram and it’s private and hasn’t gained a follower nor has she followed anyone. Completely deleted Twitter.

No idea what the Occam’s razor is.

As far as I'm aware she did report it at the time? She contacted Nevada police a few hours after the alleged attack but didn't name her attacker, then went to the hospital for documented examinations, then made a more complete statement a few weeks later.

Presumably Ronaldo's DNA sample would match any DNA sample taken from her at the time and help confirm her story. Though I'm not sure Ronaldo denies having had sex with her anyway so it's probably just standard procedure.

Aye but I'd imagine standard procedure dictates they take a DNA sample to match with the DNA sample they recovered from her at the time anyway. I mean I can't imagine they could go to court without having that box ticked given the physical evidence she provided at the time would naturally feature.

I could be wrong in saying this as she may have been advised to delete her twitter. However, she may have not anticipated the backlash from this. I mentioned in an earlier post that people on Reddit have faked incidents such as family deaths to gain karma in certain sub reddits - its not beyond the realms of possibility that she may have been looking for something similar. Maybe she thought she'd gain a lot of retweets and likes, and then be heralded as a heroine. (Again, she may in fact still have evidence). This is something I immediately thought when she released this on twitter - that was stupid whether she has evidence or not.

Yeah your mind goes there, but normally if a person wants that kind of recognition they open up their social media pages to get the followers. She didn’t. Just weird all round.

Attention? That twitter rant got a crazy amount of publicity and there were so many who took it seriously until her story clearly started unraveling and she kept making shit up and it got so unbelievable. She still had her goal of getting her name out there though which worked. Though then again my guess at her deleting her twitter was because she probably got advised to delete it as soon as possible after she posted those blatantly fake recordings as Ronaldo can take serious action against her.
She also seems very reactive and like she didn't really think things through and just acted on emotion until it unraveled for her.

I doubt anyone would have gone to follow her on instagram based on this.

She'll be back on twitter sooner or later with a much larger profile and more followers.

Yeah that’s why the case doesn’t look good on Ronaldo. She reported it, then was paid money, and it was swept under the table. It comes across as buying silence.

That's very common with big celebrities. They often pay money whether guilty or innocent so as to not tarnish their name.

Yeah, I quoted it as some of the recent posts sounded like they hadn't seen it.

From my reading of it, it doesn't look good. That said, the account of the evening is one side's version.

The subsequent activities by his legal team are pure damage control but some of it seems very unscrupulous.
 
That ex girlfriend seemed credible to me. Im not surprised in the slightest.
 
His career is basically over if the US ask for an extradition.
 
Even if this case gets thrown out, there's a decent chance the woman goes civil. Does anyone think so?
