On current trajectory and with the lack of quality in the squad, we are undoubtedly heading for the lowest ever finish. Currently I think we'll do well to finish top half, I predict 11th.

Don’t forget it’s all about improving on the last season. 7 points in 6 is ok, because last year we lost to Palace and this year we got a point

Depends how quickly we sack the manager.

Sadly I don't think a managerial change will have much the impact people hope. We've basically got too many very average footballers and there is only so much you can do with an average set of players, many of which are in terminal decline. The coaching and standards which have been allowed to fall as far as they have, has made this a group of players who are so entitled, that they'll only make life difficult for any new manager or coaching setup that demands more. They ultimately think they are a lot better than they are. Winning a cup in successive seasons has made them think they are a top team, when reality is any team can win a fa cup or league cup with a good draw and bit of luck along the way.

Ultimately it's down the group mentality, are there enough leaders who will drive up standards and I just don't see any leaders in this group. It's a collective of individuals with very little togetherness, it's the worst team spirit I've ever seen from a Utd group. Absolutely rotten group throughout there is not one player I look at with admiration who I'm glad is at the club.

Yup. We’re going to be stuck in this rot indefinitely.

Whilst not the perfect squad we do have enough quality to make top 4.

Depends on when ETH is sacked. But I reckon around 10th irrespective of the sacking and the new manager

I'm sorry but you are deluded if you genuinely think this group is top 4 ability, let alone mentality. Many of these would genuinely struggle to get a game for many teams in the championship, no joke.

Sorry I can't take this seriously.

We could easily finish in the bottom half if the manager continues. Our form has been relegation level for a while now.

Crazy to think we won the PL and CL that season.

Taking out opposition fans and wums, how did around 400 people think we'd make top four this season knowing we were going into it with ten Hag still here?!

Until this weekend I was just glad there were 3 worse teams in the league...now, I'm not so sure! If Ten Hag isn't back in his windmill, putting holes innhis edam rather than our midfield soon, we might have a season in the Championship to look forward to.

If we stick with Ten Hag, I genuinely think we'll finish 7th or 8th.

At the start of the season, I thought Villa would probably run out of steam eventually, so if we had less injuries we would probably finish ahead of them slightly. I also thought we'd be ahead of that mix of teams in Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton etc. More in competition with Spurs and maybe Liverpool for top 4. If we stick with Ten Hag for too long though, we're probably more likely to be toward the bottom end of this cluster of teams. We play Villa next and it already feels like a must-win. If we were to lose to Villa, I think the hope of us finishing in the top 4 would be very slim already. We'd be 9 points behind, effectively 10 as our goal difference is not going to surpass the teams occupying those positions. Seems more likely that our competition will be Newcastle & Brighton for places 7-9.

If we change the manager and things go reasonably well, then I think we could finish 6th or even 5th with a really strong run at some point in the season. It just feels like City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea will stay in enough of a groove that we won't quite get close enough to them. But I think despite the poor start, we could close the gap on Villa and in turn Spurs, competing directly with them in a close run thing for places 5-7 and pulling away from Newcastle/Brighton by a few results. Villa may surprise me, but I just think if they stay in Europe until at least the play-off round they might lose a lot of ground over Christmas period.

Our xG over the last year is bottom half. We got lucky last year but it's pretty likely that's where we'll end up. It doesn't lie.

Somewhere between 7th - 10th. We cannot win if we don't score, as simple as that. Zirkzee obviously isn't the solution to our scoring drought, and I don't expect more goals from the others too. Replacing ten Hag could make things a bit better but top 4 seems totally impossible.

Genuinely think we'll finish bottom half of table this season as long as ETH stays.

Originally thought 6th ….If Hag stays probably 8th - 10th

If we keep Ten Hag, definitely behind City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Villa, Spurs, Newcastle. Possibly behind Brighton and Brentford too. I'll go 9th and for Ten Hag to break another one of his records.

With the fraud staying, I think the players will be demoralised (they have to be seeing how poor he is) so I have a feeling we'll finish 10th-12th now.

No way can we continue playing this badly, converting so few chances, and picking up so few points. If we do, then we're genuinely heading for bottom 6. Most likely, even if the fraud stays, we'll turn into Moments FC by going on a run at some point and getting ourselves up into the top third, fighting for 7th.

Like many small town boys my loyalty was to my local team, good old, poor old Scunny. But we all dream and all of my life Unted was the one, the glory, the magic, the passion, the fight, the flair, the never say die spirit. I love United. But man, we've got to sort out all of the underlying mess! No matter what you make of Ten Hag, he's not responsible for the last decade of sub par performances. Kick him out now and what will we get? A new manager bounce which will drag us up a few places - all the way up to 6th or 7th and then what? Back down again next season when the newness is old and the bounce is a brewer's droop and the old old organisational problems, unaddressed since before SAF's departure, masked by SAF's presence, drag us down again.

8th is likely if we stick with Ten Hag but the hope that the subterranean organisational rebuilding can continue without interruption. 6th if we boot him out and bring in A.N.Other, but the deep, desperately needed reform, gets set back again and we'll be looking for a new, new manager again.

Quality of the squad - not in the same league as the top 4. I fear even Chelsea could put out a second 11 that could thrash us.

Was positive when the season started and voted we would finish 5th, I hoped the injuries made us as bad as we were last season. I was wrong.

Over 50% expect 4th or above. Very interesting. Under current Manager, 8th at best, because every other teams have improved, we go the wrong direction.
