I am ready for relegation to be honest. Clean the house up.
I don't think people really realise what this means. I think most people think it'll be a season in the Championship and straight back up. There is absolutely no guarantee of that.

The reality is a fire sale of players that everyone thinks are shit for crap money leading to massive losses, and the general financial decimation we would have seeing as the club is built around being a commercial juggernaut. There's no guarantee we would survive and if we did, zero guarantee we would just come straight back up.

That being said, I think we have just enough already to shade it, but I do think we will have a nervy run and probably finishing 15th or 16th.

Reading now that Ratcliffe is unwillig to invest properly in the sqaud this Jan I expect us to finish around 13-15.
I don't think he has long before he ends up being the figurehead of a huge wave of "Ineos out / Glazers out" protests. The ticket price hikes and cutting charity contributions were a massive PR own goal.

22 points at this stage of the season is enough, three wins and a handful of draws and you aren't going down. We're shit but the bottom three will struggle to get past 30 points.

This.
We have half a season to get ~15-20 points to make sure were safe. It's certainly attainable. We badly need a LWB and CF to make it a more comfortable top ten finish.

Genuinely think we'll finish strong and end up in the European stages. The timing of Amorim's appointment was really quite crap given it was outside a window and we've had so many games in quick succession.

Depends on whether Ipswich can kick on from their impressive win against Chelsea. If they go on a run then we'll be in trouble because we are in freefall.

This is what I'm banking on. Systems manager with no time to teach the system, 9 matches in a month is also brutal.

If we weren't United we could disappear from view a bit and slowly build back up through the spring, but as its us we'll be lead story regardless.
