What will it take to sack moyes?

If one of the board to turn around and ask "Oh so we're the ones playing in red?"

Losing isn't the pb and losing was predicted by many anyway, it's the manner in which it happened that hurts a little, specially considering the previous match at OT. I'm sure a 0-1 defeat with proper fighting would have gone down much much better
Exactly.

Cant believe Moyes has so many apologists in the media. He can do no wrong and its all down to a poor squad is the constant theme.

I urge the fans going to Bayern next week to make their voices heard. Seems the only way possible.

He'll be sacked just before or at the end of the season.

It's possible I suppose, but I don't share your certainty/optimism.

In the meantime I'm going to assume he'll get the summer to bring in his own players to save myself the pain of loading the BBC website every day hoping to see the news of Moyes' departure. Plus, y'know, there might be a tiny chance he could turn it around with a 2nd season.

Weird that so many people think this result would get him the sack. How many predicted that we would beat City? If I said before the game that we will be losing 3-0, how many would've thought that it's an outrageous suggestion?

Just like us, the board know that the manager we have is learning on the job and have lowered their expectations accordingly. Why they are choosing to do that is a completely different matter.

The majority of the caf probably thought we'd lose but the majority of the caf also thinks Moyes should be sacked. The board don't think this yet, so it's not unreasonable to suggest this result might have pushed them over the edge. Except it's really clear it won't.

Why? They're the best team in Europe, one that trashed an excellent Barca team just last season. This is why the CL draw was actually good for Moyes, being hammered by Bayern won't be as damaging as being hammered by Dortmund, PSG or Atletico (which could easily have happened too). We're stuck in a nightmarish limbo until next season provides Moyes the opportunity for further embarrassment.

Know exactly what you mean, I just think Bayern is the only real game of importance and to not be seen to at least make a fist of it in THAT game (after being so piss poor against City and Liverpool) could be the breaking point.

I think ultimately it will come from the Glazers and money will decide.

It's entirely possible his replacement has been sounded out, but isn't available and the damage, as regards this season, has been done.

We're waiting for the infallible players of Manchester United, currently shackled and forced into looking like a bunch of half-arsed cowards by the evil tyrant Moyes to rise up and demand to be able to choose a manager who they can be bothered to put on a red or white shirt for while pocketing hundreds of thousands of pounds in wages.

The only way for this torture to end is if the matchgoers turn on him every game and want him out...

It's clear that the board won't take any actions, regardless of how incompetent he is.

What's with the meltdown on here again tonight? Who honestly thought we were going to get anything out of this game? We've been concentrating on Europe all year, we rested our star midfielder tonight and we don't really care about the league. That record is ours now. It's all about adding more CLs to the trophy cabinet. C'mon lads quit the melt down, this only the PL, a Mickey Mouse competition between two petro clubs and a bunch of delusional scousers

Right, mission complete. Moyes has completely drawn the entirery of the sting from suceeding Sir Alex Ferguson. Now to appoint our actual manager.

They'd still be happy clapping in the Championship.

He'll be here till December at that earliest. Nothing seems to change the Glazers/Charlton/Ferguson's mind.

Beat Villa at the weekend, will be a "turning point".

I don't think it will take much longer. It's on the cards sooner or later this season.
Next time you go to a game get it started, comments on a forum where 99.99% don't go to matches won't do anything. Get on the terraces, be it Old Trafford or any away ground we play between now and the end of the season and boo as loud as you can for the entire 90 minutes.

If Wenger leaves and Arsenal get Klopp while we stick to that inept ginger I will implode..

I'll have the chance in two weeks, don't worry about it ;)

if we're gonna use this logic then lets all lace up our boots and get signed by united before criticizing players
No you're right, it is far more logical to complain on the internet that the people who spend a ridiculous amount of money going to games aren't doing it right.

Good good. No qualms with people who actually do it rather than demand everyone else does for them.

Let's sit back and think about this for a minute EVERTON ARE 6 POINTS AHEAD OF US WITH A GAME IN HAND.
