What will it take to sack moyes?

Didnt Charlton come and say he was the right man?? Either he has lost his marbles or United didnt put a clause in Moyes contract..

If only Mourinho were British/Sccotish.

Their hate for Mourinho has ruined this club.

I think humiliation at the hands of Bayern will see it happen. That's the only real game(s) we have left.
Then we'll have the apologists saying "We were always going to lose 0-11 to Bayern. Let's judge him in games where he has a chance."

This is a nightmare. We just need the board to wake up.

That display wasn't dominating enough from City for Moyes to get sacked. We've been 7th for so long it feels like we've become numb to it, like it's not as bad as it really is.

Hiring Moyes to replace Ferguson is the equivalent of signing Valencia to replace Ronaldo.
Yeah Valencia was always awful for us

Not even Mourinho or any huge name manager. Martinez would have done so much better than Moyes with this team.

It would be great if we could get our club back at some point.

Honestly nothing will happen unless there's a revolt from the fans or the players. Until then, Moyes will collect his paycheck each week and complete our transition into mediocrity.

Why? They're the best team in Europe, one that trashed an excellent Barca team just last season. This is why the CL draw was actually good for Moyes, being hammered by Bayern won't be as damaging as being hammered by Dortmund, PSG or Atletico (which could easily have happened too). We're stuck in a nightmarish limbo until next season provides Moyes the opportunity for further embarrassment.

It'd be cheaper to pay him his full 6yrs then let him stay in charge.

The most depressing part about our plight is that no matter how far Moyes drags us into the abyss, his job won't be under threat. It's nauseating, a sickening predicament. I hope all the players request to leave in the summer if this charlatan is kept on, it's so painful to watch the life drained from the players by Moyes. I hate it.

Getting Bayern was a godsend. If United get destroyed, the decision should be made that he is not good enough and he should be sacked after we get elimitated. If he manage to at least have United put up an acceptable fight, we should give him a summer to rebuild. That is a bit fair, considering the players he is giving does not want to perform under him.

You can wish for it all you like but he won't be sacked until after he's had a chance to rebuild the squad. Rightly or wrongly that's just how it's going to be so we might as well wait and see how he does.
You're absolutely right. I it kind of amazing that in an indusrtry where managers get no time we are giving man more time than anyone would expect. It's amazing stuff. Champions to no where in the blink of an eye. Amazing.

Please for the love of god. What has he done to this team?

He's done what the vast majority of this forum have wanted and moved us away from wing play. Instead, we're fielding a team of players who attack in the same way, in the same space and do the same thing. If either Mata or Kagawa made consistent off the ball runs into ATTACKING space (NOT SPACE WHERE THEY CAN PICK UP THE BALL) then we'd be much better off, but with the forward line we played today, there was only 1 player you could have looked at and said he would make the runs and that was Welbeck.

Valencia - Carrick - Cleverley - Young
Mata
Rooney
This team has infinite more potential, especially in a game like today. We tried to play them at their own game, failed, relied on the counter and couldn't get up the pitch quick enough before City regrouped. Look at the 3-2 game. We smashed them on the counter twice, once with Young flying down and Rafa for the 2nd. None of that today. Just a group of players doing the same shit.

Any other top team in the world would sack their manager if they go from running away with the league to 4th place by this time of the year let alone 7th place! We're Manchester United, we should have higher standards. Winning the league by 11 points and going into the next season and breaking the record number of losses our club has suffered in a single premier league season. Unbelievable.

He'll remain till the end of the season no matter what happens. I think there will then be serious discussions about whether he's the right man for the job. I still think/hope that the reason he hasn't gone yet is due to performance related clauses in his contract. But if i'm being truthful, I think we'll persist with him, we're too stubborn to get rid of him.

Is there ANY other club that would've kept him on by now? Even Championship sides are sacking their managers for less.

Think it might take Moyes making a pass at Cathy, that still might not do it

yep...sadly..or maybe not sadly, you are right. Martinez would have been better. Well, to be honest, as the league stands and with supposed a lesser talented team, he has done better....

Some would say, it's because of those higher standards, that Mr. Moyes is still in job.

I still don't get it how this man is still on the job. Every negative record this season has been broken by Mouse.

It's not about the 11 we select. This team just looks undertrained. I'm sure it's not in terms of how much it trains, but it doesn't reflect on the pitch. Good sides just look like they know what we do while we don't.

We've tried something similar to that so many times and it has failed that even Moyes is opting for something else.

Watch Sky news at 6.20 in the morning, for Eamonn Holmes reaction to this.
Moyes is not up to the job ,but we all know that..

You are suggesting getting up at 6 to watch Eamonn Holmes ? I don't think there'll be many takers :)

Another 2 records broken by that skeleton face. 10 losses in a season and first time goal conceded under a minute

Journalists should ask these questions to Ferguson and Charlton when they interview them, politely of course something like:

Moyes will be given time to get it right but how much time is that, at what point would you think it might be worth getting somebody else in?

They should ask them who is in charge of making that decision too and how much influence they have.

I don't even know where that line is, it's like in the distance somewhere. Even if he lost the next 3 or 4 games and then won one, I'm not sure he will be gone.

Anti-United manager.

Just sack him for the love of God.

Weird that so many people think this result would get him the sack. How many predicted that we would beat City? If I said before the game that we will be losing 3-0, how many would've thought that it's an outrageous suggestion?

Just like us, the board know that the manager we have is learning on the job and have lowered their expectations accordingly. Why they are choosing to do that is a completely different matter.

Journalists should ask these questions but they probably won't. Same thing during the press conference with Moyes, he's there for the taking but they never ask him anything tough.

Losing isn't the pb and losing was predicted by many anyway, it's the manner in which it happened that hurts a little, specially considering the previous match at OT. I'm sure a 0-1 defeat with proper fighting would have gone down much much better

I like the way you think:

- Moyes gets it on with Cathy
- Moyes gets the sack, but..
- Cathy is no longer lonely
- Sir Alex returns
- Collect underpants
- Profit-
