Westminster Politics

There were no parties -> I have no tax issues and I’ll sue anyone who suggests otherwise!

There were parties but I didn’t know about them -> I have no tax issue but will pay millions to HMRC anyway

There were parties that I knew about but rest assured I didn’t attend any -> Turns out I did have a tax issue but it was a mistake, not deliberate.

What’s the next step? ‘I did have a tax issue, it was deliberate, but something something vaccines Brexit big calls right!’

Certainly. Especially with the headlines this morning about Boris Johnson £800,000 loan and the chairman of the BBC.
Absolutely. This particular story is too big and obvious even for the BBC to play down.

But since Cameron in 2010 onwards ideological Tories either strong Parry links have slowly taken over the BBC hierarchy.

Once in a while I remember I love this country. A PM getting fined by the police can only happen here.

Yeah…. But also Kinda like the police prosecuting a burglar for spitting chewing gum out on the street… as he finishes loading a truck with the contents of your home. Then deciding not to prosecute the latter as they don’t have enough evidence.

Who's the guy in glasses to Laura K's right?
Chairman of Tesco. Surprisingly progressive actually. Clearly had enough of the Tory sabotage of this country and has said in the past that Labour are the only party that offer a growth plan.

Tesco CEO I think.

Thanks, I think he's been on before, his views ring a bell.

Back on Johnson...Like clockwork, another Ukraine visit when the heat is on- leading the Tel.

Ever since he left as PM he seems to be doing absolutely every job under the sun EXCEPT that as an MP!!!

His constituents must be so proud.

It's depressing but the best I can hope from Starmers Labour is that they're not an organized crime syndicate like this iteration of the Conservative party. And if they are it'd be nice if they at least pretended that they weren't funneling my taxes away to their mates or their own offshore bank accounts.

I suspect that a former head of the Crown Prosecution has a slightly higher moral compass than the lot currently in power.

People need to realize that the only way for Labour to get in to power in the UK is with policies that the majority of the population will vote for. With Corbyn’s policies they stood no chance.

I thought removed from Corbyn's name his policies polled well?

Regardless, I can't in good conscience vote for people that aren't supporting for workers striking for fair pay rises and seem intent on trying to ignore a culture war against trans people.
