Without evidence it's a bit unfair to accuse all clubs of sending players videos and treating them to a ride on a big dipper.
To be fair, I'm not sure what's the big difference between a manager telling a player how he will fit into his team and a manager showing him that in a video.

My understanding/hunch is that most of that money has already been spent on Claasen (sp), Pickford, and a couple more. But then again, they are backed by rich owners so it wouldn't surprise me. In reality, though, VvD is not going to end up at Everton.
They used it all up with Pickford and Keane at almost 30m and Klaasen at 25m.
