He got clipped by Cook, it was pretty clear in the angle VAR used. Cook didn’t even protest and it was clear he knew that penalty would be given.Gakpo kicked his own foot, how can you not see that?

Maybe not impede, but he definitely interferes with him... He literally puts both his hands on him. Even if it's enough to distract him for a millisecond, it's enough to be offside.
Look at it this way, that was a clear set piece routine from Villa, what purpose was Rogers running over there for if it wasn't to distract the defender?
