Especially as he was warning them about time wasting about 15 times (of which 10 warnings were given to Johnstone) during the second half.
 
If Dalot had done what Joel Ward had done, I severely doubt there is a single person on this site who would think it is a pen.

Or make that, a single Utd fan.

It doesn’t really matter whether United fans would think it’s a penalty or not. It only matters if it should’ve been. Was it less of a handball offence than the one given against Eriksen? If the answer is no then it should’ve been a penalty.
 
Replay guy is saying over and over are you ok with that & delay the game - seemed like the only guy who knew what he was doing
 
How, after all this time, can they still not understand how to implement the technology correctly? If this had occurred during VAR's infancy then it would still be unacceptable but slightly more understandable. As it is, we are into our 5th season with VAR. Inexcusable.
 
Proof of it were ever needed that it’s not about the technology.

They’ve built a space rocket which works just fine, exactly to spec for the purpose for which it was manufactured.

The problem is that they’ve then rounded up a bunch of Madagascan ring-tailed lemurs and put them in the cockpit to fly the thing.

Came to say the same thing. They obviously have multiple angles they can use which then will effect the lines?

The kick point is also totally up to the discretion of the var ref.

Back to this feck up though. Why do they use the phrase "check complete"? Why not just bloody speak the correct words... offside, onside, red card, no red card... whatever it may be.

Neither were pens, and you shouldn't make another bad decision to correct a previous one. For me we have far too many penalties given for inadvertent hand balls. If we want to keep giving them, make them indirect free kicks, a penalty is far too harsh a punishment. For deliberate/intentional, it stays a pen, and I know that becomes an impossible interpretive dance but some of the shit that people call blatant pens these days is just absurd.

But one was given. They need to set the standard, not have it change from game to game. Once the bar is set that is what people expect.
 
Now it’s released we should put a request in for audio on Romero’s handball against us…and the rest of the wank decisions against us.
 
Them releasing the audio from Diaz’s goal is going to start a trend and we must follow it. We need to go absolutely ape shite next time a questionable decision goes against us. Wait until you see Liverpool will get favourable decisions now for the foreseeable. We need to reinforce the narrative that we are getting decisions against us unfairly in order to change or luck. It would help if we had 1 person working in the media who isn’t anti United but even our own ex players, Gary Neville in particular, cannot get their noses out of Liverpool and Klopps arse.
 
Ok so this is one scenario. How many other woeful decisions have had the same comedy of errors and embarrassment but haven’t been released to the public because it’s not Liverpool?
 
Anyways, good on Liverpool for forcing the issue and shining more light on the incompetent sack of wank that is the PGMOL.

I don't think other countries have half the controversy seen the PL with technology add ons. If I was a conspiracist I'd say that this was sabotage with the intent of undermining public confidence in VAR, perfect excuse to go back to when the perfect referee had the final say and post games discussion was apparently less boring

The angle doesn't matter for how the line is drawn, they're choosing the best angle to identify which player and what bodypart to use.

Several teams have gotten apologies, audio have been released several times, and this mistake is one of the worst they've ever done. Stop with the persecution complex, please.
 
The thing that screams out to me is firstly the crazy speed they’re doing everything at - and secondly zero communication process around what they’re actually checking. Surely the process needs to entail “goal was disallowed/allowed…checking if onside or offside…check complete - goal allowed/disallowed” - it just seems basic but at no point is it communicated and the check complete is said so quickly.
 
There is no control in this. No control whatsoever. Shockingly bad. Just end this VAR madness.

Now we need our club to ask for recordings for Arsenal, Tottenham and Crystal Palace games where we lost because of VAR and referees.

No, you've been told that the angle doesn't influence the line. Obviously if the angle makes the refs choose the wrong point then it does matter.

It sets a precedent now, they might aswell just have the audio pumped into live games at home when a decision is being made.

You’re still arguing this despite that video stating to the contrary? The parallel angle looks onside, the angle from behind is clearly a much inferior angle to use so why use it?

Your VAR man has just said the camera angle matters so what are you even arguing here?
