It's a prime example of elections having consequences. This man's life is likely going to get a whole lot worse. I'd imagine a bankruptcy is in his near future. Bet hey, no more taxes on inheritance over 5,000,000! Yeah for the "middle" class

Whatever happened to Doug Jones focusing on kitchen table issues in Alabama, and why is the impression of his campaign so insipid?
Probably because he's a bland, generic Dem in a deep Red state, so obviously most Republicans who aren't high on Moore are not going to rush to Jones. If he had a bit of charisma then he may stand a better chance.
The only way Jones will pull this off is if a good chunk of GOPers stay home and Bama Dems come out in high numbers AND the third party Republican who is running as an Independent siphons off about 5-10% of Moore's votes.
He can't be an exciting Dem in Alabama though without motivating the Repubs to come out and vote despite their Moore worries. He's having to play it incredibly carefully.
This has pretty much been the Democrat malaise post-Obama. Vote for me because I'm not Republican is not a strong message but apparently no one suggested that to Pelosi or the DNC.

The interviews on these people are hilarious but sad. If he's elected he needs to be hounded daily and these Alabama voters need to be reminded of their decision.
I think they'd still vote for him if they believed the stories to be honest, the other guy's a Democrat.
I'd imagine plenty of them do believe the stories, or at least privately acknowledge they could be true, but just say otherwise because they're aware how poorly it'd reflect on them.

These accusations only popped up when they'd coincide with the election.

This is fake stuff being spread by Clinton's advisor Parkhomenko to try to make out Moore's involved with Russia. He's just saying a basic greeting in Russian and he studied the language at West Point, so he's bound to know some basic phrases.

A lot of Alabama Republicans don't like Moore, they realize that at least some if not all of the accusations are true, but they will hold their nose and vote for him. Alabama could very well be the most conservative state in the union, and I believe it has the largest percentage of religious conservatives. I think it will come down to Jones position on abortion. Jones has been said to favour no restrictions on abortion, that is probably not true, but that seems to be the perception among conservative Alabamans. It seems they would rather vote for a jaded candidate like Moore than somebody they oppose on religoius grounds.
There is absolutely zero explanation for this other than corruption. The GOP are a criminal organisation. America is turning into an Oligarchy.
