Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

This place gets so insecure when other teams buy players.

Tell me about it, Liverpool doing well in the transfer market does that to you I guess.

Keita even for next summer is a great purchase, Lemar and Renato Sanches are still targets, Liverpools attack looking as good as ours and City's.

Arsenal and Spurs have been pretty poor, don't think they will get into the Top 4 let alone challenge.

Seems to have blown up all of a sudden

Costa to Everton?! Surely no chance. Surely someone better would be interested?
I would say it makes sense. I guess the loan fee will be big, despite the fact they'll only have him for a few months and Mendes will use it as a chance to get his hooks into another cash-rich club. Chelsea have probably agreed that, once he doesn't go to a title rival, or someone who can harm them in the CL.

Wouldn't be averse to seeing us dive back into the market. Seems like there are still a few players changing clubs who would improve our squad for sure.

Liverpool need defenders more than any team needs anything.

The way our fans are so quick to write off other teams, I'm pretty sure rival fans are not too worried about us either after the last 4 years.

Yes it is. It's an edited version of this

All of the creases and folds match the Keita one

Well spotted.

Despite the transfer ban? Surely it doesn't matter if they loan him out, it's still a transfer. Otherwise, we could have brought Greizemann and loaned him back to Athletico.
They can't register him until January. They've obviously got the player's approval.

It's a registration ban. They can buy as many players as they like just can't register them. Same with loans. They can't register loans.

They can sign but not register them. Barca signed Turan whilst they were banned and he spent his time training but not playing for 6 months.

For someone with a reputation for getting in with bad crowds, he'd be moving to a club in Guadalajara, practically next door to Sinaloa Cartel territory. Maybe I had Morrison wrong, he does have ambition.

For 6 months it's a bit tricky... I think Everton is a good deal for Costa. If only it meant Griezmann doesn't play in the C1... that would be amazing.

I can only conclude that we were never in for Greizemann then, otherwise we could have done some sort of deal to buy him.

It doesn't make any sense for Arsenal to lose key players for free when they can get substantial sums for them now and invest them in players who want to play for them. They are not likely to make the top 4 without Sanchez but it is highly dubious whether they would make it even with him. Better to sell him and buy Mahrez, Draxler and/or Lemar.

Wenger should have retired years ago.

Something tells me we're not done yet. If you look at how we conducted our business recently a lot of it was completed with media having very little clue until it was practically official. High chance same thing might be happening again.

It isn't really type of thing that we ever get involved with. There is always the chance of the player suffering a serious injury and becoming a lesser player at the end of it, then its dead money.

We could've, but it takes three parties to come to an agreement for that to happen.

Costa situation was different, Chelsea, Atleti and the player, seem to be heading in the same direction.

Sanchez to City soon no doubt. Arsenal are ridiculous.

Just because they're selling a guy who has flattered to deceive and has had loads of injuries for a fairly decent price?

Selling him might encourage them to stop this stupid wing backs nonsense and playing Bellerin out of position.

True, but this point gets brought up all time. Yes they need a couple of CBs and/or to get Sakho out the wilderness and a decent GK, they seem to be going in the right direction under Klopp. It pains me to say but let's be unbiased.

On the other hand, everyone seems to be jumping ship or getting sold under Wenger, who in my opinion is losing touch and should have saved face and left on a high after the FA cup win. Arsenal will be lucky to get top 6 this season.

Spurs are Spurs, very good manager, very good first eleven, but they haven't got the squad depth compared to the rest plus the hoodoo of Wembley and the lack of quality transfer acquisitions will be they downfall.

In Arsenal`s case even if they dont sign anyone, its better to clean and clear up that place from all who dont want to be there etc. Maybe someone from academy can step up and give a lift to that place.
