So PSG buying Neymar will indirectly make Liverpool stronger.
Coutinho -> Barcelona
Keita & Lemar -> Liverpool
If this happens, I guess people enjoying laughing at Barcelona won't be laughing so much.
Please let this not be true.

There's little point complaining about it, teams will buy good players, the same few clubs can't buy every good player of other teams have the money and desire to improve that's life.

Gutted Keita is going to Liverpool, albeit next season, he'll massively improve their midfield.

Lemar, not so much. He's a slightly lesser player than Coutinho and won't make a significant improvement to their starting 11.
Liverpool need defenders, a striker and a keeper. Bizarre if they go for Lemar. Coutiniho must 100% be off.

Yia but we clearly need better fullbacks and a RW and it doesn't seem we are looking to improve that. We have started well but with the fullbacks we have and lack of a genuine game changer I feel we will fall just short of the Title.

Coutinho is definitely gone. Not sure if it's this window or the next, though. Mendy must be insurance for this window. If they can't pull it off now, seems like Courinho will stay for an added season.

Really good move by Liverpool. They are signing players to improve the team before letting Coutinho leave, unlike Arsenal who will regret their pride when they can barely play their uncommitted players.

That Burnley midfield spot Gudmondsonn is in is begging for a loan like Pereira to take over.

Leicester would be interesting, but I worry they'd just play 442 and go with proper wingers over Pereira.

Swansea could work. Clement can recognize quality and they have little creative talent to get Abraham service.

Bournemouth, in the role Wilshere played, makes sense too. Could see him beating out Arter and Gosling immediately in their 433 or Ibe and Stanislas out left when they go 4411 with King behind Defoe.

My first choice would be Huddersfield. They have started well but they play 3 of Ince, Kachunga and either Van La Parra or Palmer behind Mounie and ahead of Mooy and Billing and I'm sure Pereira would be first choice ahead of that band of mediocre attacking mids, and their manager and his teammates seem decent enough that he wouldn't just be constantly alone like at Granada.

Yup plenty of decent midfield chances in the pl especially with coaches Jose trusts than to spend a season at Valencia.

Coutinho is definitely staying this year, that Keita transfer guarantees it. He'll stay for one more year and will be off next summer, hence why Keita will join next summer. L'Pool board can say to Coutinho 'give us one more year, Keita will come in the summer to replace you and you're free to go'

Liverpool have already been playing well without Coutinho. Buying Keita (whose an explosive player and is built for the PL) indicates Liverpool's ambition of challenging for the title. With rumors that they could perhaps get Lemar and even get Renato Sanches on a loan makes them a contender along with the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Every season Liverpool spank Arsenal and "they're back." :lol:

They have glaring issues to address in that squad. Keita won't stop them conceding 3 goals to the likes of Swansea and Watford.

Whilst I agree it doesn't stop half of our fans believing we are back either when we still have issues. Same with Spurs I can't see them winning the league but I can't actually see us winning it either. The team that should win the league imo is City but they'll find a way to mess it up also. It's strange how no one looks a dead cert and with all the big teams playing in Europe it will be interesting. I really hope we make another signing before deadline though, could make a huge difference.

Have they? They were average at best vs Watford, slightly better against Palace and then were as good as Arsenal were horrendous yesterday. People are getting far to carried away with them, they aren't going to be challenging come the end of the season, they just haven't got the depth.

Yeah, I didn't even include Newcastle, who need a 10 and midfield depth in general or Palace who employ a past it Puncheon in a role Pereira would thrive in.

Have to say that Liverpool are building a cracking team if they pull off both Lemar and Keita. Damn you Klopp.

I don't like Pool strengthening either but let's be honest here - look at the names on our roster and tell me there is a reason to be jealous of other teams in the PL. Certain positions, sure - but hell Mata was one of the brightest stars in the PL at Chelski and look at how he is now surrounded by big talent to the point of him just looking like one of the guys. I love the little Spaniard so this is no slight against him but you probably get my point.

He has been getting quite some stick on this forum but the reality is he is a very good coach that most people would have loved to see here at United. His Dortmund teams were a joy to watch and with the right players he has proven he can compete for titles.

Keita surely is the right player for Klopp

I don't know man I still feel we really lack a maverick player in attack and our fullbacks are really average aswell.

I'am not saying I'd switch with any other PL team but I sure wish we had signed some of those players like Hazard, KDB, Mane, Dele, Kante and I'am pretty sure Keita will be another name on that list.

Clements Bayern connections hard at work

It would be a good choice for him. He needs trust and playing time. There is no point going to teams like Liverpool or Inter on loan, when they have no incentive to develop/play him.

I still feel we need better fullbacks and a game changer. But we are looking good no doubt. Also I am a Muppet and I need my fuel.

Let's be fair here. Our roster isn't that special. We're not one of Europes elite teams. There's definitely reason to be jealous of other teams in certain areas just like they'd be of us in others. Kieta, Salah, Lemar and that LB would constitute a brilliant window, and represent players that could also serve them for many years and improve in that time.

Lemar and Keita will be better for them than keeping Coutinho definitely, but since Keita is joining after one year then nothing really will change regarding them this current season as Lemar will replace Coutinho and that's for it.

Next season when Keita joins then we'll also be strengthening our squad even more, same as the other top teams (except Arsenal) so they won't have any advantage.

The only thing I'm gutted about is that we didn't get anyone from this Monaco team. We got Evra from their 2004 team but no one this time.
