Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Are you a bit surprised by that? Can't say I'm a Liverpool conneseur, but the couple of times I did see him play, he looked decent to me!
I was never very impressed and I'm pretty sure he's 24 now, so doesn't have a lot of developing to do as a player.

That'd be highly ironic. Like saying he doesn't like Peter Crouch because he's not tall enough.
Fabinho was the only disciplined player in that Monaco midfield. Silva, Lemar and Baka were going forward at any given opportunity. He was the only one keeping a semblance of control.

If Mourinho doesn't like him it's his prerogative, no matter how much we disagree, to be fair. It'd be very annoying however if Fabinho is simply 3rd on the list behind Dier and Matic and we waste all summer going for the first 2 options.

He's apparently not on the midfield list at all.

Let me get this straight. Liverpool are in talks to sign Robertson, whilst Hull want Stewart. Hull let Liverpool rip them off for Stewart AND still sell Robertson for only £10 million? What kind of negotiating is that?

Robertson is a good signing for Liverpool either way.

Dimarzio reporting that kolarov to Roma is done. With City signing Mendy, who could be signed as a backup?

Without him I "fear" they'll end up behind Everton as well. St. Totteringhams day won't be celebrated any time soon...

Man f*ck this p*ick, I genuinely hope Southampton just sign another CB and let this idiot rot in the reserves for the next 5 years with no football and ruin his career.

Signs a 6 year contract accepting vastly improved wages I would imagine along with it. A year in to that, Liverpool start tapping him up and he tells Southampton he wants to leave and refuses to play.

'Oh, but I still want to be paid in the mean time obviously. Oh, and for the record whilst I want to leave, I won't go anywhere but Liverpool, so kindly accept any bid they put in for me please no matter whether it's anywhere near your valuation of me or not'.

Absolutely no respect for the club who signed him, improved him as a player and allowed him to take a giant step forward in his career in the process.

Your tune would be different if it was someone joining your club I presume?

The whole system is corrupt, plain to see.

If PSG pull off Sanchez and Neymar I won't be pleased it ridiculous that we aren't in for one of them knowing we need a winger.

Arsenal aren't going to sell Sanchez domestically, and with Neymar there are only two clubs in the world who could realistically sign him due to the financial aspect: PSG and City. City have already spent a fair bit on signing other players and have other priorities (fullback and possibly DM).
