Why do Italian clubs sell to domestic rivals at such low (relative to the market) fees? If Bernardeschi was playing for Tottenham or Everton they wouldn't even let you smell his farts before you put a £70m down-payment.

That's a cracking deal, Juve's attack will be a lot quicker and potentially go up a level with him and Costa.

1. Fiorentina are selling all their important players
2. He only wanted Juve
3. Juventus cannot spend € 70 mln for a winger.

Juve and Bayern are so good in the transfer market

I see this again and again but let's not forget a key factor:

Their domestic rivals bend over and let them plunder the best domestic talent for pittance.

Buying from within our own league has been a hallmark transfer strategy of ours until TV deals have given other Premier League clubs much more financial leverage in dealings. And same can be said for teams abroad that want to hold us ransom knowing we have abundant resources.
