I would love Aurier. If we can sort his mentality out, we'd have one of the World's best RBs for peanuts. Unlike every other player in our squad, he can actually cross a ball too.

At which point will he realise that Barca not only had the best players at their peak but were technically light years ahead of everyone else. The players he has bought in are not and will never be at the required level to pull off what the vastly superior Barca or even Munich players could. Short of buying the whole squad it can't be replicated. He's better off trying to get to an achievable style that can work for his players and the league

Why can't I? Playing professional football at the highest level, earning millions and being a role model to others is a scarce privilege. If you cannot behave in a manner that is worthy of deserving this privilege (not assaulting police officers), then I don't think they should be allowed to remain in this honoured role. I wouldn't be holding it against him for the rest of his life, but for his playing career, certainly.
I have huge respect for police officers, regardless of their nationality. If a police officer was found to assault a member of the public with no grounds for doing so, then they would be sacked and have their career destroyed. A professional footballer does the reverse, gets a slap on the wrist and continues his career earning millions like nothing has happened.
Such a person would not be welcome in my football club.
Well in the real world you don't own a club. Footballers get into scrapes, they're human. The law dealt with the matter.
Actually, in most countries the Police are never held accountable for such actions. And not just third world countries.
