Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

1st of June and I'm depressed with this window. Got to do the gardening and refit the kitchen and paint the hallway and bathroom ceiling before the 1st of July. Ed get your ass in gear mate I've got work to do lad!

I know he's not liked but he got the Pogba deal spot on last season when everyone was saying it was off.

I remember 5 journos saying pogba was on to every 1 saying that it was off. Something like that anyway.

Richard Keys knows feck all. He's an intolerable turd too.

If you tie your emotions to every tweet or report about United transfers this summer, you may likely end up with high blood pressure before August starts.

Crymaxing your way into the new season. Modern football, can't beat it.

Scenes when we enter the new season with Keane, Josh King and Danny Drinkwater as our signings :drool:

He's just covering all bases, say we don't get him he'll just say we didn't want him.

We'd be stupid not to go for Griezmann, the only world class player on the market at the moment in a position we need to strengthen.

Griezmann plus a LW would've been ideal and play Martial as ST.

A bit weird Atletico would be okay with Vietto leaving but are

Yep. He got Pogba first and then Bein were the first to announce Mourinho to United if I remember correctly

What do you think that would happen if Atlético tell you, "please, don´t pay the clause because we can´t sign". Do you think that United would look somewhere else?

If that's the case (weaker frontline than last season) despite having champions league then us fans will have every right to be extremely hacked off.

Atletico would probably tell us to pay the release clause upfront, which is basically a "you're not signing him". We would have to look elsewhere.

Yea, stepping back from Griezmann would be a big blow - far beyond annoying bored muppets in the summer

You mean us as a club? Somebody wise here once said that it's a doggy dog world, while I understand the struggle (that they sort of brought on themselves, it's not like the ban was imposed upon them based on nothing), I doubt the club would give a feck.

zero chance we have worse attacking players than last season.
If we don't get Griezmann and lose Zlatan, we will have a worse lineup. We need to replace Zlatan and add more goals from elsewhere. At the moment all we have is the devastating contribution of Martial, Rashford, Mata and Mhki. Which adds up to not very much.

I know its take everything with a large sack of salt time of the year but its hard not to be pessimistic even if you know most of it is BS.

Oh come off it, stop jumping the gun, these are just newspaper reports most of which will likely say something completely different tomorrow- if not sooner.
