How are Chelsea allowed to just stockpile players and send them out on loan all the time?

I get your point about Chelsea and loan players in general but Zouma is hardly an example of that. Got fairly regular game time pretty much from when he arrived until he suffered that horrible injury. Needs regular games to get back to where he was.

Pretty quiet on the MUFC front. Maybe we won't do much business until a few of the exhibition games to let Jose get a read on whether some of the youngsters are ready to step up. First one up this weekend already, with another 2 days afterwards. Important time for Pereira, TFM, and Axel.

Why did you skip my favourite, Demitri Mitchell? ;)

Really hoping that kid cracks it. He's a huge talent.

Actually I am not too sure about that..

I liked him at Porto and he's been very unlucky to compete against Carvajal for that RB spot. I think he's a great player and with regular game time I can see him reaching his Porto level again.

Honestly I would had been happy if we considered him as Valencia cover/successor
Isn't he the guy all Madrid fans hate and think is awful? That's like the equivalent of getting £30m for Fellaini.

Same shit every single year

Woodward's, an incredibly busy man I'm sure, whereabouts aren't known at all times on tour so a huge signing is imminent. Embarrassing.

He still be there for the opening fixture so I'm not sure what he's getting at.

Ed is usually on the plane with the players and staff when they leave for a tour. He's trying to hint that Woodward got business to do, which is quite likely since we'll sign a couple of more players.

I thought it was common knowledge he was away trying up the deals for the the dual world record breaking transfers of Ronaldo and Neymar?

his point is he is always there at the start of pre season. Every year hes on the plane with the team when they start the tour. Him not being there is slightly odd. One would figure hes trying to finish up a deal or two

Every time I think about this deal I'm conflicted. I like Perisic and can see exactly why Mourinho wants him. You look at his play and imagine a Lukaku on the end of his crosses and it all makes so much sense. I just can't help also wondering how much City will sign Sanchez for.......

If Levy were to block Dier’s transfer, what would he do about his salary? It would be impossible to come close to matching United’s offer without breaking Spurs’ wage structure and Levy will not do this for fear of encouraging other players to ask for large rises.

That's the great (only?) advantage when trying to get Tottenham players.

That Dier article says they categorically ruled out the sale, so why the feck are we still even discussing it. He isn't worth even close to £50m so if they've rejected that move onto another target.

Looks like Jose is getting his first options across the board at all positions. No reason to complain this season.
