The squad is already lopsided with a shortage of attacking talent. Letting one of our most promising attackers go on loan when Rooney, Ibra, Januzja, Depay etc. have all left makes zero sense. Absolutely no chance this is happening.

Monaco was bought by some rich dude like 2 years prior to FFP. During that time they spent tons of money in the infrastructure and recruitment of players. Once FFP hit they were forced to sell a major star each season. Since then they've invested heavily in youth and have essentially become the world's best talent recruiter/talent nurturer since then. They develop talent and then sell it. Apparently there's a never ending stream of young players who can come through their youth team to replace all the players they sell.
In pure winger terms, you can't compare them. Perisic is at a different level.

A goalkeeper and an attacker which they really didn't need. If they don't buy a decent midfielder, some backs and maybe even a central defender, nothing to be worried over.
