We need a mega transfer to start the merry go round
yep, the racism was gushing out of the post. doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what he meant.I think he was suggesting that he is "18" - as in lying about his age. Not 200% but that would explain "18", rather than just 18.
Fecking Griezmann. Atletico are hardly hard done by from their transfer ban.
Still a long window ahead. Who knows where Griezmann will be come September.
I'm personally not that overawed by him anyway, but the football world has U-turns often enough. Stranger things have happened.
At Atletico, because he extended his contract already.
I'm aware of that. He wasn't out of contract before either.
I don't think a player can sign for 2 clubs in the same summer, can they ?
Yeah, I know he was making a casual racist joke.

Yeah it's happened numerous times before. Also he wouldn't be signing for 2 clubs as he was already there.
However, it's not going to happen as they would be without a striker till January.

Hi,Hi
What's happening?
Sporting CP sign Seydou Doumbia from Basel on loan with an option to buy.
I know, I mean in addition to his targets. A few good young talents here and there cannot hurt.Sounds like clutching at straws to me. We need to land the players Mourinho actually wants so he can advance his strategy next year.
Diario Madridista suggests United are interested in Mateo Kovacic, only their report is undermined by claiming United have shown interest in James Rodriguez when they haven't.
In order for major European clubs to sell players, the starting point tends to be planting a story falsely linking them with United. Sometimes it’s the club spreading disinformation (Juventus apparently did so last week by falsely stating Fabinho was off to United) and sometimes it’s the agent, but the Kovacic story appearing on a Madrid blog is suspicious.
Kovacic was 17 when Sir Alex Ferguson was refused the £10m required to sign the Croatian from Dinamo Zagreb.
That´s the original article. https://okdiario.com/real-madrid/futbol/2017/06/30/mourinho-tambien-viene-kovacic-279440@carvajal
Diario Madridista (which I know nothing about) is claiming Mourinho wants Kovacic. What do you think of this?

Wow! You're upset. Step back a bit mate. It's the first day of the window. People say stuff and have opinions and those that have a platform air them. Breathe...
He's a fantastic striker.
Much better than Lukaku and they will miss him.
@carvajal

Not upset at all no, I just wonder why some people listen to what is obvious rubbish
Please go back and tell him it's not the first day of the fecking window as it opened on the 9th June we signed a player (Lindelof) 2 weeks ago and other clubs have signed players to.
Unless all of the clubs were breaking the rules and flaunting it under the noses of FIFA and every other governing body...
I swear if I see one more £&@& post that's the window has not opened yet or that it's only the first day today 1st July I'm going to destroy the internet
If the guy wanted to leave this summer, he wouldn't have extended his contract already.
Anyone still dreaming of Griezmann joining us this summer is desperate and letting the hope kills him.
Good player who could be great when in form, but nothing spectacular overall.
A couple of years back €20m could've got you a very exciting players/prospects. Today... Not so much.
They're a fraction of the former group of players thoughAmazing some of the fees we are seeing happening at other European clubs when you see the fees being quoted to our clubs for the likes of Michael Keane, Dier, Walker, Lukaku, DJik, Perisic, Pickford, Keita etc
Tielmans, Paredes, Sule, Coman, Benatia, Dahoud, Bruma, Banega, Papoudoplos have all transferred for just fractions of the prices
They're a fraction of the former group of players though
Don't agree with some of those, but there is still value somewhere in the market just not for English clubs .Yes price wise or do you mean ability?
Sule over Keane
Benatia over Djik
Banega over Dier (if he is still anything like the player of Sevilla and Valencia)
Coman over Perisic
Tielmans over Kieta (confess barely seen Keita, still I think Tielmans will be worth treble his fee in a year or two, which would still make him cheaper than Keitas rumoured fee)
I think Bruma, Paredes and Dahoud are a bit overhyped, but they are all talented and have all gone for relatively cheap fees that would have been good deals for a lot of premiership sides
Yeah, both him and Theo, obvious PR movesHopefully that´s the reason but I was thinking of keeping the good relationships between the clubs. If he doesn´t come this year, then Kovacic needs to show finally his true potential
