Real Madrid closing in on Dani Ceballos by offering more than the €15m release fee. Madrid are leaders for Ceballos ahead of Barca, Juve, Bayern, and Monaco.

Shame we aren't interested, he's quality with a high ceiling.

Are you saying they'd refuse €50m?

I wasn't being serious, but I'd enjoy bumping the price right up so Real would have to pay way over the top to get him.
He has a release clause. They wouldn't have to spend over €15m no matter what United bid. It's a very easy concept.

Must have done it at the behest of his agent as his contract negotiations are underway as per reports and this showing he isn't open to other clubs if money isn't right would help him pocket a few thousand euros per week more than what is being offered

It will be a great signing, although I still can´t see him staying another year at Betis. It´s also weird to pay 5 m extra to get the player. I think with Theo will be the same

Something in between. :D

I actually don't know why they replied to this fan in specific with such an emotion. There's no reason really.

Community managers sometimes do stupid things. They are not reliable.

Not really, clubs prefer to pay a higher fee a lot of times if it means they can pay it over longer periods. If you go through the release clause I think you have to pay the entire fee right there, while the extra 5m probably means it'll be paid over the length of the contract.

Ceballos would be a fantastic signing, replacement for Modric lined up already.

Can we just throw money at this please? I would like to see us at least go for these types of transfers.

Hopefully that´s the reason but I was thinking of keeping the good relationships between the clubs. If he doesn´t come this year, then Kovacic needs to show finally his true potential
