6 good teams v 3 good teams, that equates to stronger in my book.
If Arsenal get Lacazette and Mahrez and keep hold of Sanchez I can see them finishing ahead of us again. Great signings.

Griezmann obviously hasn't and perisic most likely isn't either and then we're seemingly struggling to get even someone like Morata over the line and our midfield choice is reliant on Chelsea getting their player in first (why don't we just go for the younger bakayoko then?). Still early days of course, 2 full months to go, but I'm sure Mourinho will be pretty pissed off if in a week or so when they leave on tour and we haven't added anyone else.
People going hot under the collar for Lacazette. Until this season and the dearth of strikers that are available, he was not being fought over. Yet Morata who has learnt his trade at Real Madrid and Juventus is inferior to a Lyon player who is overlooked for France in favour of Giroud. Morata actually has more caps for Spain than Lacazette has for France and more goals.
Lacazette is heavily overrated and his goal records in France is nothing significant or different from any striker there. Batshuayi scored 23 goals in his last season in France and he's warming the bench for Chelsea because he's not good enough for a starter. Not to mention the loads of penalties Lacazette is good.
He's a good striker for a top 4 battle but not really anything higher. If Sanches leaves they're going to be weaker regardless.

If they lose Sanchez but get Lacazette then they'll probably fight out 5th-6th with us--unless we buy a top attacker above and beyond Morata and Perisic. They already finished above us and those signings will strengthen them more than Morata and Perisic would us. I just hope we get someone like James, Bale, Dembele too or we will seriously struggle to score goals-even as many as this season.
