ATLETICO DEFENDER EXCITED BY REAL MOVE

Atletico Madrid defender Theo Hernandez has spoken of his excitement about his impending move to Real Madrid.

The 19-year-old is expected to complete a €26m move to the European champions in the coming days.

Speaking to Los Angeles Sports Today, he said: “I am very excited for next season, excited about playing with the best players in the world. Now, the only thing that I have to do is continue working and continue fighting.”

LYON EXPECT LACAZETTE TO STAY

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas does not think in-demand striker Alexandre Lacazette will leave the club for Arsenal this summer.

Aulas had said earlier this week that he would not let Lacazette leave the Ligue 1 club until someone offered their £57m valuation and gave him time to find a replacement. But his comments to Canal Plus on Tuesday night suggested the need for Lyon to find an additional might not come until the January window.

Aulas also said Lyon's interest in Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, who has been linked with a move back to France, had not yet gone any further than that.

In an interview with the French broadcaster, Aulas said: "I do not think that Alexandre Lacazette will leave this summer. I do not have anything to say about Olivier Giroud. We're interested. Things haven't advanced."

Lacazette had previously been expected to join Atletico Madrid and Aulas said that move could be back on the cards once the Spanish side's transfer ban concludes in January. Pressed further about that move, Aulas simply said: "It's possible."

‘VAN DIJK, SOARES TO STAY’

Sky sources understand Southampton will not sell any of their top players this summer after reassuring new manager Mauricio Pellegrino that the likes of Virgil Van Dijk and Cedric Soares would remain at the club.

Van Dijk has been linked with a move to Liverpool, while Soares is rumoured to be attracting the interest of Tottenham and evenBarcelona.

However, SSNHQ also understands that Spurs have two top targets should Kyle Walker – a target for Man City - leave the club and Soares is not one of them.

One is believed to be Porto’s Ricardo Pereira.

BONY TARGETS CITY REDEMPTION

Wilfried Bony wants to prove his worth to Manchester City, but admits the club have to decide if he is needed.

The 28-year-old striker signed for City for £28m in January 2015 after scoring 26 goals in 54 Premier League games for Swansea, but struggled to secure a regular starting berth at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola allowed Bony to spend last season on loan at Stoke, where the Ivory Coast forward managed just two goals in 10 games for the Potters - averaging a goal every 345 minutes - but Bony insists he is capable of rediscovering the form that persuaded City to buy him.

"I love the club, the fans," Bony told Sky Sports News HQ. "I want to show that Wilfried Bony is still the same player. I've been through a difficult time.

"Leading the goalscoring two years ago, it's still me, nothing has changed, just a difficult time. I just want to show them I can do more than that so I just need to get myself ready."

Sky sources have told us Aston Villa are favourites to secure the signature of John Terry, despite interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

We understand a deal could be completed within the next week.

We've been told that Villa have made Terry a lucrative one-year contract offer, as have Midlands rivals Birmingham City, but the former England captain favours a move to Villa Park to work with Steve Bruce.

West Bromwich Albion, Swansea and Bournemouth were all interested in the 36-year old but Terry is reluctant to play against Chelsea, where he spent 2 decades as a player. His contract at Stamford Bridge expires in three days.

He's is good petential. Rumours are they will loan him again.

Just saw on BBC Saul Niguez scored a hat-trick for Spain U21 last night, not really seen much of him, but looked him up and he's a CDM/DM. Anybody seen anything of him? One for the future?
He has been around for years. Scored amazing goals against Bayern and Real iirc. Crucial player for Atleti

Sunderland striker Fabio Borini is due to undergo a medical with AC Milan tomorrow ahead of a move to the San Siro in a deal worth £5.3m, according to Sky in Italy.

It’s understood an agreement between Milan and Sunderland has been reached for the striker, although this is yet to be officially confirmed.

We've been linked with him quite a lot in the past, he's had a few injury problems iirc (major injury against Leverkusen in the CL that put him out for a long timr) but seems to have got over them and back on track.

I got really excited there as I had 15 tweet transfer notification in the space of the last hour - none of them remotely United related, apart from ones saying that we were offered Saul years ago and we said no.

Brill.

Same, starting to get frustrating hopefully Morata is wrapped up this week.

According to Bild, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could leave Dortmund to join China. Tianjin Quanjin would be ready to put a huge amount of money on the table in order to attract the Gabonese striker, who would become the highest-paid player in the world.

Announced everywhere since the beginning of the transfer window, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may eventually leave Europe. According to Bild, the Dortmund striker is moving closer to a departure to China. Tianjin Quanjin would have decided to take out the heavy artillery in order to recruit the top scorer of the Bundesliga. Shu Yuhui, the rich president of the club, would be ready to offer more than 80 million euros to BVB.

#Inter getting talented Pietro Pellegri from Genoa: 15 million plus 15 bonuses in 2 years @SkySport

Not sure it's newsworthy, but:

Anthony #Martial or his entourage did not meet José Mourinho or United leaders to talk about the player's future. #MUFC

David Amoyal has Fabinho to United at 45% likely, someone responds saying that's low then he responds saying it's very high for him. For reference he has Manolas and Paredes to Zenit at 75%

I very much doubt it's just PSG lurking, can't remember if he's said he wants to stay but we should be all over this.

Wtf is wrong with him that he needs to go to china, it can't just be about the money?
How could it possibly be about anything else?

The window is super quiet right now very frustrating for muppets like myself. Hopefully we get some positive news in the next few days.
