Manolas, slip medical visits: economic problems with Zenit
Slip at the time a medical Kostas Manolas with Zenit, scheduled this morning at Villa Stuart. The defender was expected at 7:00 am, but no one has yet come in the Roman clinic. At the base there are economic issues in the agreement with the Russians. The node is related to the currency, in fact Manolas does not appreciate that the figure is established in Russian currency.

That can't be true. There are 67 Russian Rubles to the euro. If they were offering 50 thousand euros a week that would be 3.33 million Rubles. Surley he didn't think that they were going to pay him 3.3 million euros a week.

Were did you even get this

The problem is the contract specifies the amount of his wages in rubles. Manolas wants it in euros

It's not about that. He wants his salary to be set in euros (or dollars or whatever), Zenit wants for him to have a set salary in rubles.
The point being - if he has a salary in Euros, it is stable (relatively); if he has a salary in rubles, another set back ending up in rubl's devaluation, like 2 years ago, will significantly trim his salary.

Ah that makes more sense.
Need to remember to engage brain before I try to decipher Google translations of foreign tweets.

Just saw on BBC Saul Niguez scored a hat-trick for Spain U21 last night, not really seen much of him, but looked him up and he's a CDM/DM. Anybody seen anything of him? One for the future?

Seriously? He's one of the best players at A Madrid, he's brilliant and very much one for the future, and right now.

fecking inter milan and all their board and whoever is pulling the strings.

We ended up with Fellaini instead

This one is really interesting though, I hope we bid 21 million for Perisic now

read somewhere that Inter will likely sign a sponsorship deal that will make up the 21 mil regardless.

What's inter got to do with him moving from turkey to US?
I tried to elaborate more, just edited.
Watching Transfer Activity about Wesley Sneijder just brings back the memories how Inter Milan blocked his move to Manchester United few years back.

Today is the final day for them to balance their books ... isn't it ?
I hope they get heavy fine and sanctions.

i thought it was month's end so would have til Friday but not sure. I'd be surprised if they can't rustle up 21 million from somewhere otherwise they'd have already agreed to the 40 mil we offered.

Dembélé does not interest Guardiola this summer, another target (already in the sight of PSG) would be in sight bit.ly/2tnKTHE

LIMA A TARGET FOR PALACE

Barcelona target Lucas Lima has denied receiving an offer from the Catalan giants but revealed he has been targeted by Crystal Palace.

The Brazil midfielder, 26, is out of contract at Santos at the end of the year and has been tipped to join Barcelona in January. However, Lima says Barca have not made an offer for him.

“I have not received any offer [from Barcelona],” he is quoted as saying in Marca.

Lima did, however, reveal that he has received offers from elsewhere.

“When I decide about my future, Santos will be the first to know it," he added. "It’s my priority. I had offers from Crystal Palace, and a fortune from China, but they were not the teams I expected. I know that if I play well with Santos I will continue in the national team, I will be closer to the World Cup and that is very important for me."
