Yeah he's not totally useless going forwards on the break but against packed defences he offers nothing other than defensive work. Hopefully Pereira gets a chance to shine next season for some games against the minnows, i think he's a better player in possession of the ball.
Herrera isn't a Carrick, unfortunately. That's the issue with possession based football, unless you have a good tempo setter, with a great variety of passing, you'll struggle to break down the teams that sit back.

Pereira I'm looking forward to seeing again.

On another point, I'm not sure we'll play a midfield 3 in most games, personally. So take out Dier and bring back in a Mata/Miki, and I guess the nullification of Pogba wouldn't be as damning.

"Can Manchester United score? They always score"
But Jose is a huge pragmatist, and any supposed fall out didn't influence his goal scoring numbers and the team's performance.

We could give Ronaldo a completely free role and make the rest of the team work around it. He's one of the few players who would warrant that
That's exactly what Jose didn't want do, even for Ronaldo.

That was at Madrid, not happening at United.

Ronaldo has similar problems with Ancelotti.

Anyway, Ronaldo can kiss goodbye to any future Balon d'ors if he left Madrid. He won t give up on those.

Shall i link you to his performance against France the other night?
That's as fair as judging Gerrard or Lampard off their performances for England. And even the most partial ovbserver will acknowledge their club careers were far more distinguished and representative.

Well if Spurs have quoted £50 million to scare us off it would be pretty funny if we called their bluff and said "ok then here you go". See how quick they back peddle then.
Call their bluff? They'd rip the cash out of our hands, and knowing them go and bring in a much better player for 1/5th of the fee

Yep. They'd buy Fabinho. That's like a kick in the balls followed by hearing that Levy shagged your wife.

Sevilla want to sign Zouma to strengthen their defence with the possible departures of Rami and Carrico.

Says Valencia, Nice and Inter have been interested, but Sevilla's Champions League football gives them the edge over Valencia.

Madrid knew about Cristiano´s anger but not about his intention of leaving. They hope that is a quick temper.
Madrid don´t oppose to his exit but won´t be cheap. No offers yet

This will go on until deadline week when he'll sign a new contract.

With all respect, Raoul, should we have a separate thread for all Ronaldo related tweets, and keep this thread for non-Ronaldo tweets?

After all, we all know that with 99.9% percent probability he will still be a Real Madrid player at the end of this transfer window.
