Rodriguez move to be scuppered by Rooney?
Diario Madrista are reporting that the proposed deal for Rodriguez may not happen because of his need to wear the number 10 shirt.

Adidas are said to be demanding that he has to wear 10 - already occupied by Wayne Rooney.

Rumours have linked Rooney with China or a move back to Everton, but he could choose to run down his contract which expires in 2019.

Nothing lazy about that argument, it's true. Nothing but moaning on here from FM kids who care more for FIFA attributes and stats, rather than us building a functional team.

Thats idiotic, because again, not everyone that doesn't want a player plays FM.

Thats an indisputable fact.

Throwing around the FM thing is lazy because it adds nothing to the discussion.

I say this having never played the game either.

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.
 
People might not rate the MEN but the story is fairly clearly a brief, especially when you consider Mike Keegan (he of breaking the story about us terror attacking our own stadium) had the same.

For what he has done for them he should have had them cut 10 mil from the clause. Next season a lot of things can happen and we might end up having interest in someone else.

There's a difference between having a good inside source and being briefed by the club. Anyway the MEN are not the likes of Ducker etc who got the briefing.

Exactly this, his first two seasons were great then he had an awful season then last season he did ok nothing exceptional. That's the reason most of us don't him

You do know we came 6th last season right? I presume that feeling comes from people desperately not wanting to have another season like last season, or like the season before, or the one before that...

Frankly we're still miles behind the top 3 and unless we did something dramatic in the window that won't change. When names like Griezmann and Fabinho get thrown about it makes people think that dramatic window could happen, so when it doesn't people struggle to resign to the fact that we must slowly build and we won't immediately start challenging again

It has nothing to do with fm and FIFA. He has regressed in the last two seasons and that's why Chelsea are upgrading on him
 
It looks like Man Utd are going to finance the signing of Mbappe to Real Madrid

Through us buying Morata and another be it James, Bale or Kroos who i think is his real target not Fabinho

our last 4 league finished have been 7th , 4th,5th and 6th.

I can understand why some people are anxious.

Even though I don't necessarily agree with all posters that don't us to sign certain players, I believe their reasons are worth listening to at least.
