Firstly we are never mentioned, secondly Sid Lowe is telling what Morata has said about Conte. How he gets this sense of security about his abilities, from conversations they had. How he tried to get him into Chelsea but couldn't and that he hopes one day he will play under Conte.
What did you hear to make you think he would prefer us over Chelsea if he had the option? May be it's something I don't get in that video.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I am just trying to turn into a journo and decipher what Sid Lowe reported as Morata's words. And by the looks of the latest tweet he's up for the challenge to come and score goals for United. I am not the most excited bloke about this transfer, but I do believe Alvaro will slot pretty well at the spear of the attack and will bring 15-20 goals to the league next window.

Yeah people will rightly question whether or not that team has enough goals in it, but i think we would definitely see an overall improvement in performances with that lineup

I'll be vilified for this, but I think Morata is a better player than Kane. I think Belotti can be too.
With James it is perfect without it is a fight for top 4 unless Martial and Rashford magically become goalscoring machines. Hate to be negative but it is just the way i see it currently.
Even though we seem overstocked in the #10, I also think James is class and will benefit the team.
He has more to his game, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did BECOME better than Kane. He's also currently better everywhere except league football, that being international and European club football. Kane is currently the superior finisher though, that can't really be disputed.
Kane is the better finisher but that is all as far as I can see. Morata is a better player and brings others into play better. I think he'll do really well if he comes here.
Also for people that are worried about Morata not being clinical because he doesn't have great numbers.
