I do not share your pessimism.I really don't think there's any chance that signing Morata, Perisic, Fabinho and Lindelof are going to get us anywhere near the title. All 4 would be good signings to supplement an already capable squad, but our squad at the moment is nowhere near title winning quality. Add to that the fact that our top goalscorer from this season won't be there next season I think we would struggle to get anywhere near the title if we sign only these 4 players.
But then we have to take into account who realistically is available and in all honesty there's not much that would really elevate us to title winning quality. So unless we pull out a pleasant surprise in the transfer window we fans should try to rein in our expectations for next season and try to get behind the players and see where it gets us. Hopefully we make some progress from this past season and see where it leads us in the future.
@Sport_Witness: Victor Lindelof agrees terms on €35m + €5m move to Man United. Will travel for medical in the coming days. #MUFC http://sportwitness.co.uk/player-set-travel-manchester-united-medical-complete-e40m-summer-transfer/

I wouldn't call it pessimism. More like being realistic. It's not like I expect us to have a terrible season or regress horribly. I expect us to improve but not so much as to win the title if our rumored signings come to fruition.I do not share your pessimism.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/inside-murky-world-tapping-up-10586182“One huge manager at a big club wants an England international. He’s been texting him for weeks. The player’s head has been turned. Four clubs are in for him. But he only wants to go to one place. And his existing club know it.”
Walker. Was just reading John Cross's article about tapping up and this part stood out

Maybe talking about Micheal Keane and us? Was linked with Liverpool, Spurs, Everton etc but now reports say that he only wants to join United.

We hold our money in different currencies and the club coming up to the transfer window with a general election they would have thought of this. The pound has plummeted which will be bad for us. Every player will cost us a few million quids more.
Sid Lowe is superb.Sid Lowe is a very good journo imo. This is pleasing news!
Sid Lowe is superb.
I have read in several places that Morata really wants Prem League football over other leagues.
He isn't stupid. He knows Serie A is a bit crap and that he won't get enough game time at Real.
Just hope Chelsea aren't in for him.

Not seen Walker or Dier linked to more than 1 or 2 clubs. Keane on the other hand... That said, don't think Keane would need much convincing so it is a strange one.
Well, because we have submitted a bid for him?
Wasn't it "and I know I will" what he said at the end? Quoting Morata that he wants to play under Conte.
If we and Chelsea are for him, I think he would choose Chelsea.
Have we? I don't believe the rumors. There were also rumors that we tried to hijack PSG's move for Aubameyang.
I hope that's the case. Well... Both we and Chelsea are in for a striker, so one goes there, one comes here. Unfortunately both Lukaku and Morata seem to favor the Chelsea move.chelsea are reportedly going all in for lukaku. they arent going to buy him and morata
Unfortunately ... Morata seem(s) to favor the Chelsea move.
After Liverpool became interested in the green and white revelation contest, it is now the red devils guided by José Mourinho to probe for the jersey 77, which can be a great fit.
It is the most appetizing target painted green and white on the market: Gelson is being targeted with strong covetousness among the most eminent Premier League emblems. After Liverpool took to the field for the young revelation of Sporting, now you know THE GAME, Manchester United appear at the end track.
Where did you get this from?Unfortunately both Lukaku and Morata seem to favor the Chelsea move
Which currencies you hold and hedging against fluctuations is standard money management for an enterprise like MU.I'm pretty sure i read a few years ago that we actually hold our cash in more than one currency to protect against this, or something like that anyway. Probably a bit more to it than that.
Actually, it should make the domestic market more attractive for all, including European clubs. The difference would evaporate anyway. We may have to focus on buying from British Clubs: back to Matic, Willian, Rose, Van Dijk, Sanchez ?
Sid LoweSays who?
