Nothing new then.
Superman Rooney will be back as strikerWe will need 2 strikers if Zlatan is leaving.

If we're buying Perisic, it could mean Martial and Rashford are both only going to play as strikers as. 3 should be enough I suppose.
Wouldn't be comfortable with that. Rashford and Martial didn't get us enough goals last season. Why will that change next season?
I'd rather have a one legged Zlaten then Rooney!!!Lose Zlatan, keep Rooney. Summer is going well so far.

If Di Marzio is saying we are in for Belotti, then I will believe it for now... He was very ITK about the Darmian transfer, who also played for Torino....
What happened to the "plenty of offers" ?
Most of them involve a pay cut.
Nothing new then.
Manchester City have bought Hirving "Chucky" Lozano and will loan him for 2 years to PSV
Not a bad idea buying up as much young talent as possible and loaning them out tbh, could pay off when average players start going for 100mil.
Yeah, looks like City hijacked it. Dumb kid.Isn't he that Mexican we were linked to? Thought he was headed to Celta.

Pretty sure he was a United fan too. Is this news reliable?Yeah, looks like City hijacked it. Dumb kid.
Did Mooy no harm, did it?Will be sold in a couple of years without playing a single minute for City just like Aaron Mooy.
Why would he? You're overloaded on quality wingers as it isDid Mooy no harm, did it?
Anyhow, there's a chance that he'll take Delph's place in the City squad for next season.
Talking about Mooy mate. Why would he? You're overloaded on quality wingers as it is
Ah, gotcha. Sorry mate Yeah Mooy has been quality this season for Huddersfield, if he does go back to City he would be a big loss for themTalking about Mooy mate.

Would love Perisic and Morata in this window. Plus Fabinho and Lindeloff and we are set.
There's nothing we can do in this transfer window that would improve us enough to win the CL. But if we improve enough to challenge for the title that's good enough. All four would be improvements to our squad but I do not think it would give us enough to win the league and certainly not the CL. But I would not be unhappy if this was all the business we did as we also welcome back Pereira after a good loan spell and have the emergence of Tuanzebe.
For me as long as Young, Rooney and one of Jones/Smalling are sold I will be happy. Also less game time for Lingard is always a bonus.
The pound has plummeted which will be bad for us. Every player will cost us a few million quids more.
Yep I'm sure that's the case.I'm pretty sure i read a few years ago that we actually hold our cash in more than one currency to protect against this, or something like that anyway. Probably a bit more to it than that.

Yeah it's a bit strange almost acting as intermediaries but if everyone comes out as a winner then I suppose all is good. The deal worked out for Mooy, yeah. My point is it's weird to be signing for a club that you're probably never going to actually play for.
I'm not having a go at this transfer strategy as it's actually a pretty smart one for making a profit in the long run.
How do you know that Jose has already decided on Morata? The fact is that only Woodward and Jose know who they have identified as targets. If I was Jose I would go for Aubameyang but I'm not Jose. I haven't seen Morata or Aubameyang play, but I saw the statistics. Aubameyang has done well in a league which is much more competitive than Serie A (where Morata got 12 goals) or La Liga IMO. You might have seen more of these 2 players than me.
All very good players tbf, wouldn't mind them.We may have to focus on buying from British Clubs: back to Matic, Willian, Rose, Van Dijk, Sanchez ?
I really don't think there's any chance that signing Morata, Perisic, Fabinho and Lindelof are going to get us anywhere near the title. All 4 would be good signings to supplement an already capable squad, but our squad at the moment is nowhere near title winning quality. Add to that the fact that our top goalscorer from this season won't be there next season I think we would struggle to get anywhere near the title if we sign only these 4 players. There's nothing we can do in this transfer window that would improve us enough to win the CL. But if we improve enough to challenge for the title that's good enough.
