Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Most people in this forum said no to kane for 50m two summer's ago lol. Opinions don't hold much weight

To be fair the market has went bananas since 2 years ago and the doubts in case he was a 1 season or 2 season wonder were in peoples minds.

Roma is thinking about Jose Izquierdo as a Salah replacement. The Club Brugge winger, from the Colombian class of '92, has recently earned his first cap for his country.

Would be a good buy actually, he's definitely ready for a step up from the Belgian League. Pace, trickery, beats his man easily and scores goals.

Hardly a statement of ambition when they sell the rest of their squad.

Every player who spent more than 3 years at Monaco is free to go, that's the club M.O and those players are pretty much replaced. So the moves that have not happened yet have little link with a lack of ambition.

Wolves
Couldnt have picked a more perfect team.. Scored on his full debut against them. Had his worst performance for us against them..
His crossing

It'll be nice to see the Baby back.
The Mendes effect iirc there was some uproar recently as the wolves chairmen or someone in a high place is best mates with Mendes.

Serious question, I don't like him, I know you lot don't like him, but why aren't we in for Vardy? Surely he'd be nowhere near these stupid prices and he'd be absolutely perfect for us. His blistering pace on our counter attacks, I can't understand why we have to look for someone with a big shiny name in chrome?

That's actually quite an interesting idea. To my mind we need 2 strikers anyway (to replace Rooney and Zlatan), and one is clearly going to cost a fortune so a (relatively) cheap punt on Vardy as a back up is not a bad shout. However I detest the little runt though so not sure I could bear to see him wear the shirt...

'Perez knows the Madrid dressing room thinks highly of Keylor Navas. So goodbye to de Gea.'

Article goes on to say Florentino has spoken to key figures in the squad who all support Navas fully and want him to remain as the no. 1, meaning the club will not look to sign de Gea or any other keeper this summer.

Being dicks just because we won't give them De Gea. Any other team and they'd accept that offer.

On to the next target it is then. There's no need to waste any further time on this matter.

Some great names linked to us recently, I'll be so disappointed now if we end up with a couple of bang average players in the end.
