Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2024/25

We shouldn't give a EUR 60m fee after a loan, it should be less normally.
Even if it was buying him now 60m is too much, I'd think 40+5 or something would work
If it is an option to buy we can walk away from Eur 60m

40 million is a good fee for a player who's been as bad Rashford and also has a contract of 300k plus.

It's good to see we have a proper list to replace Rashford in the squad as in we won't end up bare or totally reliant on Garnacho staying fit by the end of the season. All 3 have major potential but have become stuck for one reason or another. Tel is the most exciting by far but could also take months to get going in the PL. Nkunku could be a machine if he got fit but he looks another sick note. I wouldn't swap Rashford for a Villa player whose also totally stalled. That's mid table stuff but who knows? Maybe these guys actually are geniuses after all...

These are all Ralf kind of signings by the way

I cannot see us paying more than 30m euros for him if we are going to loan him with an obligation to buy.

He is a talent, for sure, but he is not worth more than that.

Don't get this tweet at all, are they saying obligation to buy or he stays with us then. I worry about Arsenal being involved because they can offer him Champions League heck chance to even win it.
Yeah it seems they want an obligation to buy or for us to just buy him now permanently.

All the reports suggest that his first choice to is to join us.

Can live with the loan and obligation, however no chance we can afford permanent deal now

They just want a loan signing until the end of the season with no obligation to buy so there's no risk.

Then they will consider buying depending on how well things go or have other targets in mind.

This Tel feller loves to change his mind doesn't he!...would struggle to decide what he wants for dinner at this rate.

Club couldn't be more incompetent. Wait till the last day of the window and panic. Absolute geniuses.

Literally no goals in the team and have t even tried to fix it. Should have been two attackers in minimum by now

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The problem with the team is bigger than no goals. Our entire approach to games is incredibly negative. No striker is doing anything in this team. So if we don't sign Tel then just stay put instead of wasting more money on dreck that will not improve us in any way whatsoever. Nkunku, or Bailey or whoever else is being mentioned will do precisely feck all and would just be signing someone to sign someone.

He's very likely better than Hojlund so yeah, it would have
Very likely, why?

12 goals in 50 games for Bayern, where you’d assume he’d score more for one of if not the best team against easier opposition.

Hojlund has the same goals in one less game in a god awful United side.

I don’t understand why we’re not targeting a recognised 9.

How on earth are we panicking?!? Literally just moaning for moanings sake.

Focus was on getting players out and IF a player was suitable for us, we'd get them in. Panicking would be getting someone in for the sake of it.

Literally Antony and Rashford have gone and Malacia looking likely to be on the way out too AND we've walked away from the Tel deal.

Good lord this place likes to criticise everything.

I can't understand why we are not in for Manfred Ugalde. A young striker with an incredible goalscoring record and reportedly a realistic release clause of £25 million. He played for Lommel of the City Group too, and has been compared to Aguero. Surely Omar Berrada is aware of him.

You can't say that with any confidence at all. We need a senior striker who knows how to put the ball in the back of the net regularly. That's not to say there's anyone like that available at the moment.

Osimhen was some sort of deal we could have done. Dont see anyone else.

United weren't dithering for nothing; they always made it clear that they had to sell/move on a player before they could bring someone new in. If Rashford/Garnacho were moved on earlier, then they'd have brought in an attacking player sooner.

We better get a fecking striker in. Either Ratcliffe fully commits to this club and invests or he sells again. Buying some 18 years olds won't be enough
