He's not cheap, that's exactly why we're considering alternativesThings really are bad if we're not even confident of signing some cheap left back from Lecce
Few weeks ( or is it months) he gave interview when he said that he has "unfinished" business here and how United is his club etc....Has anyone actually asked Alvaro if he wants to come back yet?
I think the fact that Lecce have already rejected a significant bid is notable.I hope we go with this. If we are selling Garnacho I want the money to at least be invested wisely instead of immediately blowing it all on Dibbling or Nkunku. I've never watched Dorgu, so I don't know how good he could become, but I know that no Serie A full back/wing back is worth €40m. They work with completely different budgets in that league, and for €40m you should legitimately be buying one of the best players in the entire league, which Dorgu obviously isn't right now (everyone would already have known about him before we were linked if he was really that good). Even if he has big potential and goes on to be great, the fee should still reflect his ability now.
There's a reason you never see Italian teams spending massive fees. We already got completely ripped off on Hojlund and that's been a horrendous deal frankly. This feels exactly the same, because Italian clubs know we're dumb enough to pay fees that no other team would. Thankfully, we have a £16m buy back clause on Fernandez or Benfica would undoubtedly be quoting us a similar price to bring Alvaro back.
We have Dalot and Malacia, it isn’t ideal, in fact it’s pretty dire, but it’s enough to tell Lecce and the rest of the community to do one.
If we never call the bluff they will never stop bluffing when we look to buy players.

And if he does, this loan becomes profitable for United just like Sancho's was when he was loaned out to Dortmund.Hope he rips it up and gets his confidence back.

Yeah, we are going from incompetent to greedy, deseperate and incompetent. Never been so unexcited about our transfer business.Whilst I’m sceptical of anything I read transfer related. If things were to be believed then we are more ridiculous now than we was over a year ago. All new people put into play and I’m reading that we could potentially sell Garnacho and replace him
with Nkunku??? That’s what they’ve all come up with. It’s like we are run by people who genuinely hate us.
PSR has sucked the fun out of the transfer market. We maybe should have some kind of spending cap but I can’t get on board with these PSR rules.

Based on his G/A output, David Lean would have been more aptTrying to figure out why they decided to connect Antony with David Lynch
The Eraserhead-hairdo was brilliantThe feck is that?!

Are they calling themselves mad for having him?Wtf?
I've absolutely no idea. Are they calling themselves mad for having him?
What a great idea, I wonder who will buy them?By selling rubbish we don’t need like Lindelof, Shaw, Casemiro, Rashford, that also takes a lot of wages off the books. I bet Rashford, Casemiro and Shaw are all earning close to 300k or over. We shouldn’t be selling our best prospects and our most lethal threat in attack.

Doesn’t need to be a Queue of clubs. 1 clubs fine. Saudis was sniffing around Casemiro not long ago. Someone will pick shaw up for a few mil.Don't bother mate.
Honestly just weird that people see Casemiro stinking the place out whilst being one of the highest paid players in the league, Shaw having more injuries than Phil Jones, and Lindelof being free to agree a free transfer to another club right now, and still think " we should sell them, there'd be a queue of clubs offering big money for each one of those!"
They’re both so shit. We have a higher chance of calling their bluff if we released the both of them.We have Dalot and Malacia, it isn’t ideal, in fact it’s pretty dire, but it’s enough to tell Lecce and the rest of the community to do one.

Well - the good news is - Leicester, Southampton and Ipswich are so poor - that we don't need to sign a single player in this window - and we will still stay up. So maybe that is what we should do - clear 3-4 players - throw in some youngsters instead and go big in the summer instead.

If anyone wanted Casemiro I'm sure Ratcliffe would walk him there himself.Doesn’t need to be a Queue of clubs. 1 clubs fine. Saudis was sniffing around Casemiro not long ago. Someone will pick shaw up for a few mil.
