Outright sale or loan with Obligation to buy, else Juve should eff off
Honestly surprised Malacia is gaining interest tbh.
I'm not sure we're in a position to play hard ball.Outright sale or loan with Obligation to buy, else Juve should eff off
Why would we sell him? Or especially let him go on loan?
he's a decent-ish left back but not a wing back, can't play the role at all
You’re joking right? Have you seen his wages? He's the perfect squad player for games like the Arsenal one. He's on low wages and seems to have a great mental profile as well.
I get that the fanbase wants to get rid of everyone but there's no real incentive to sell Malacia. What do we even get out of a £5m fee or a 6 month loan? Nothing.
Well in theory, if we are starting from zero £5m would get us £25m to spend amortized, that would easily pay for Alvaro Fernandez who is much better suited to that role, in addition right now Malacia is pretty much meh in terms of sale value, what would we get £10-15m with a bit of luck? but if he goes to Italy and impresses for 6 months you could potentially double that, bottom line Malacia just is not that good for us even as a squad option if we have the chance to sell then why notHe's the perfect squad player for games like the Arsenal one. Because he's a really low quality player and presumably one of the few on a relatively modest wage. We should get rid while there's still some interestWhy would we sell him? Or especially let him go on loan?

He's good enough to be a squad player for a top 6 club. Good defensive asset for specific games or game states where you might need someone like him. His performance vs Saka and Arsenal is a good example. Similar to AWB in that sense and since we don't have the latter anymore to come in and do their job when needed, that's another reason to keep Malacia too.I would assume because he's not a particularly good player
He wasn't even good before the injury and he's been comically bad since returning. So much so that Dalot looks a good option in his position by comparison. He's good enough to be a squad player for a top 6 club. Good squad building doesn't equal getting rid of every single player that isn't world class.
He really isn’t. His performance against Saka is the only example. A complete outlier that has not been repeated since, he’s at best a lower mid table premier league player, sadly. I quite like him, he seems a good character, but not remotely of the required quality, if we can get him moved on and it frees a space and wage then it should be done. He's good enough to be a squad player for a top 6 club. He's small, weak and doesn't excel at anything. We don't need to carry any passengers and Malacia is probably the most obvious example of one in the entire squad.
