I feel like I always see his tweets and it's just rehashed stuff from other journos. Does this guy have genuine links to agents or just another twitter journo?
He's a former player in England and Germany. Norwegian so he spoke a lot on Haaland and Ole.

Works for ESPN as a pundit and on German TV.

Wouldn't call him a journalist. Pundit/presenter more applicable.

Norwegian Rio Ferdinand.

He has tons of contacts across Europe - played 4 seasons in Austria, 5 seasons in England and 3-4 seasons in Germany and has worked in television for the last 15 years. So people may not always like him - but when it comes to inside information from especially Germany, Austria and Norway - he is one of the best.

@Berbaclass and @lsd

What exclusives did you guys post on your Twitter pages?

He doesn't post exclusives. Do you seriously think he is as connected as he portrays himself to be? Contacts all over the world. The most connected man in all of world journalism. Agents from every club in every major county in the world run this by him. Do you think there was a moment where the world football elite got together in 2021 and decided no major transfer would happen in global football without randomly running it by a relatively little known Italian based journalist for....reasons?

He wouldn't have time to shit.

He's extremely successful at the 'game' of leveraging fan's insatiable desire for transfer rumours and turning that into social media followers. But the knowledge he claims to have on every single transfer of any note is laughable. And you can't blame people for pointing that out.

fecking hell, every year people moan about Romano with so many clueless takes.

53-55 minion euros is a good deal for us. Around 100 million to improve 2 positions in first team, not bad.

Yeah this could easily be Min-Jae all over again because yet again we can't move Maguire

Not really like Min-Jae. He literally went unopposed and Bayern had the in against all teams from a while because it was clear the player has his preferences. A player of that talent from a title winning club doesn't go so easily unless it was clear from the player side, whom had a release clause to be leveraged, where their preferred destination is shared upfront to any possible suitors.

In addition, it was not a priority for the club. Maguire can choose to stay if the club cannot offload him this window and it's not the worst thing in terms of correctly and gradually turning over the first team. He's 2nd choice at best and he may have to live with it for another year and figure out how to adapt and accept his role or eventually leave.

Disasi nor a CB has been a real priority for United. It's 4th or 5th at best, with GK, CF, RB, CM making all the noise since the winter. Now it's GK, CF, CM (considering Fred and/or McTominay could leave).

Thought both might leave at one point this summer but starting to feel it's one or the other

Yep I highly doubt we are in for a CB this summer and moving Maguire is as high on the agenda as people believe.

Unfortunately I suspect you are right

Agree....just think his contract is too difficult to move with 2 years remaining instead of 1. And he's totally fine as a 3rd choice....except for the fact his wages are not in line with his talent level compared to Varane and Lindelof, who probably makes significantly less than Maguire yet has clearly established himself as 2nd choice for both CB positions.

If Fabinho is going for approx £40m, as has been reported, shouldn’t we be expecting similar for Fred? Or is Fred’s contract situation drastically different (no idea what’s on Fabinho’s)

They can have him for 30/35. Just use that money on Amrabat and then work on the striker..

If we can offload Maguire, McT, Henderson, Fred plus VDB then it's terrific stuff. A potential 80 odd mil from sales and that gets you Hojlund plus Amrabat with some ease.

Maguire £30-35
McT £30-35
Henderson £25
Fred £15
VDB £10

Surely those players fetch over £100m?

Mind boggling how so many posters think we are going to sell both Fred and McTominay

he really can't see the writing on the wall? He's about to be stripped of the captaincy, is probably 5th choice as CB and is the face and embodiment of everything wrong at the club these past few years. Pick up and leave Harry, it'll be good for everybody. Even for West Ham, probably.

In a way Gareth Southgate is the problem, while he still picks Harry for England even though he isn't playing, why would he move. Just hope either Harry has some pride or Gareth picks one of the up and coming CB's for England.
