Because people like reading speculative news here:

Source (Tier 4):

Noam Emeran, who was named man of the match on his first professional appearance for MU (1 goal, 1 assist), could go out on loan this summer.
  • The left winger could extend his contract before that.
  • Strasbourg, Anderlecht and other clubs want him

Vitesse is another interested club. All of these clubs are still evaluating the deal's feasibility.

Tier 2:

So it might be just above €55m, then (57-58 million is my guess), to get this over the line.

Was good at filling a hole and never was completely crap, but wasn't particularly good at anything either. Far better players than him have come out our academy and had a lot less apps for united. A testament to his mentality and character.

Update André Onana.

In the last hours there has been a meeting in England to move forward in the signing.

Manchester United and Inter are getting closer. The final price could be a bit higher than 50+5M€.

Negotiations continue. Very hot transfer.

Oh I agree - I just thought it was wrong to compare it to Haalands fee which was way too low for his market value
The Haaland release clause was the fee that went to Dortmund. The total fee paid by City, their sponsors, agents, mafia or whoever else, to Haaland, his father, agent, friend, etc., was far more than the release clause, and also significantly more than City disclosed in their accounts for FFP purposes.

Yeah but you can't compare Haalands fee and use that as a guideline for what other strikers could cost, because his transfer fee was much lower than market value.

Much lower because of the release fee!

Unknown City players selling for double that, ffs! Elanga has actually played for the United first team.
That can actually reduce a players value though. The problem is we never pick the right time to sell players. Elanga looked most promising during the rangnick era but has since looked quite limited. If we sold him a year ago we might have got more for him

Thanks to @UnitedSofa in the Misc. Reserves/Academy News thread:

Barça is working on the Marc Jurado transfer for the B team

The Manchester United footballer, who came from La Masia, is negotiating to return to Barça Atlètic

It would be an operation with a reduced cost based on objectives

This QueThiJugues in journalist from Catalunya, Romano follows him, I guess he follows everybody. Couldn't find his name on the list, first page. Sorry if I screwed up.

We should offer the Saudi League a package deal.. 35m for Bailly+Fred+Telles

It's not a good translation. The fee will mainly be based on the add-ons/performance objectives, so expect a small base fee.
Another £1m fee with a 40% sale on although Barca may not agree to that so maybe £3m
