Dejan Kulusevski to spurs is a done deal.£5m loan with obligation to buy for €30m if spurs qualify for CL.

Maybe so, but this kind of thinking is why we still have deadwood that prevents us from renovating our roster. SAF was able to make do with Carrick at CB when needed, so Ralph should be able to make it work with Shaw & Matic as stopgaps, if needed. Need roster space & maybe Jones, DVB, & Martial can help increase their market value, if not their chances at PT in the next season. Heck, maybe all these loans frees up some resources for a CDM.

I'm not saying they shouldn't go. I'm saying we need one or two players if we are letting them all go.

Matic can't be relied upon in midfield let alone at CB and the idea that Shaw can play CB in a two is fanciful. If Bailly/Jones go we have feck all depth at CB and we're already light at DM.

Congratulations. He was highly rated before disappointing at Juve (during a difficult time at Juve), this could be a coup for you. (Actually now come to think of it I assume Paratici also bought him for Juve?)

And we didn't even put in a bid when both are current forwards are ancient. He went for 18 fecking million and we're demanding 15m for that weasel lingard who has 6 months left.

Scandalous

We also need a Greenwood replacement.

Woodward liked to keep in touch with various agents, so it wouldn't surprise me if we're still in touch with Dembélé's agent (mostly stemming from the agent's side). I'm not expecting us to go after him unless we are in need of a new attacking player.
What a difference 24 hours can make.

Lingard says hi. He'd really like to stay and sign a new long term contract. He's only asking for £180000 per week for a 6 year deal and he has some great ideas for a new fashion line and...

Sancho and Hannibal as back up and sort it out in the summer

Hannibal plays in a completely different position.

Hannibal plays in a completely different position.

Greenwood is playing on the right of a three in the last two games and RR says he will continue with 433. RR sees Greenwood as a 7 not as a 9. Hannibal has been playing in this position or on the left in the Arab Cup and off the bench in the AFCON. At the moment he is an 8/10 hybrid. He will probably be a box to box 8 later as he develops: a more creative, skillful version of McTominay driving forward carrying the ball. He probably won't be 10 as he is hasn't shown he's creative enough at the top level. He could be a 6 later but it looks unlikely at this stage.

Hannibal isn't physically developed enough to play as an 8 in the Premier League. It would be much easier for him to play either wide right or left coming of the bench to start his senior career. This could be a good opportunity for him to come off the bench for as a start and see how he does.

The other options are Lingard, Mata, Shoretire or bring someone in like Dembele. I would prefer Sancho to start and Hannibal off the bench.

Sancho and Mata are still here. I don't know what's going on with Mason but there's other players who've been accused of things still playing, so it's a wait and see.
Mata is useless, too slow to really make an impact now. I’d rather recall Amad, least he’ll get game time for sure.

With this Greenwood stuff going on and us players go, we desperately need to do something, otherwise, we are going to be left really really short.

Not really. Just means more games for Sancho, Rashford and Elanga. Lingard will stay.

It's another reason to sign a cm. This would mean pogba could play out on the left when required and lingard and rashford can offer competition for sancho on the right

Zakaria 5m euros. Hardly a big risk that. If he doesn’t cut it you’d get that money back at least, by selling him. However I think he will do just fine.

A shame if Rangnick reportedly wanted him but hey ho, we still have 60 minutes a week Matic and the mediocre Fred to play DM for us in what will be a massive battle for top 4.
