Quite interesting….maybe it’ll be slow for us for a while and then boom, transfer after transfer after transfer

Yeah "boom". Like when we waited so long for the Fellaini transfer that his release clause expired and we ended up paying more. Really astute signing.

One comes in.

One goes out.

Emerson is RB, while Firpo is LB, Dest & Emerson are the RBs in the team + Sergio Roberto

at LB, if Firpo leaves that means that will leave them with 32 yo Alba, so they might need to bring in new LB as a cover for Alba

That was almost ten years ago.....why are you mentioning the Fellaini transfer.........I'm confused

I think you guys need to open your eyes a bit and also realise that fullbacks aren’t all the same. He’s not going to be Shaw on the ball but he’s no slouch. One of the last matches the cbs we’re doing their dicking around at the back routine until the opposition got too close then Bailly played what was practically a hospital ball to AWB. I thought you’re done for with that one but his skill for him out of a pack of 3 and he was able to play the ball off.
the lad is growing in confidence all the time, this narrative where he’s crap on the ball is just lazy
Agreed. He's been getting better and better at it and he was yet again, the most productive RB in the final third not named Trent this season just gone.

The issues he has are that he's essentially been made to hold down a full flank on his own with almost zero support. Bring in a RW and you'll see a commensurate increase in his productivity as he would no longer be the focus of both his opposite LB and LW/LCM.

If true, this is really absurd behavior and needs to be axed
Why? If you, me or anyone else signs a contract with an employer we have a right to expect it to be honoured. If our employer then asks us to take a pay cut and we suspect it’s so that they can put another wing on their house then we’d be quite within our rights to tell them where to go. I accept that it’s a different proposition if the company is on the verge of going bust, but this is clearly not the case with RM. The argument that they want to buy Mbappe is irrelevant in my opinion as they should be managing the business in a way that allows them to offer competitive salaries to their current players and to invest in new ones.

Absolutely, competition does the likes of Shaw no harm.
For context, based on assists, there are 6 players ahead of his 4.
Cresswell 8, TAA 7, Robertson 7, Digne 7, Coufal 7, Shaw 5
Considering sometimes he plays on his own on the right, he’s on track.

Couldnt agree more, having the competition from Trippier could help AWB to kick on again

Everton is very tempting since they have better players than West Ham but will Moyes leave the European team? Although, West Ham is currently don't have the squad to compete in both PL & EL, which pointless to stay in West Ham if they are not backing Moyes.

Watford sign Imran Louza from Nantes for a reported fee of 10 million euros. 5 year deal.

United were/are linked with him too. Would be a much cheaper alternative to Haaland too.

No way. Don't fall for it.

2 goals in one season for Milan. Shipped out on loan to Sevilla with 9 goals in that season. Then hits Germany and suddenly bags 28 a couple of seasons later? He's Jovic in Germany. He won't put more than 10 goals in for United based on his track record in La Liga and Serie A.

In fact, I guaran-damn-tee that he's not demonstrably a better overall player than in previous seasons.

I expect us to be linked with every German player that Germaned. It's just easiest job out there these days “journalism”

Mate because you acted like this "strategy" of ours is something genius and brand new. We always act slowly in the market. Been the case for many years now. No matter if it's beneficial or if it hurts us. We seem incapable of doing business quickly.

AWB has more assists and goals than both Kyle Walker and Reece James the past season by the way. But he’s awful going forward.

and in a united side who often ignore playing down the right as we don't have a proper RW. I also don't recall him losing a single 1 v1 duel on the ground in two seasons now.
