If Poch left PSG without winning at least a French league title, he would never shake that image of him not being a winner. It would be tantamount to admitting he's not a big club manager.
Also, regarding Conte, he's been at his best under Beppe Marotta. Sure, Paratici also worked for Juventus at the same time as Conte, but Marotta was the key to give Conte what he wanted in the team.
Spurs can go after Paratici to try and help Conte out, but Levy would still be Conte's bottleneck at the end of the day.
