Summarised translation:

More info:
  • Griezmann leaving will be key to Messi's contract renewal
  • Atletico will not be interested in offering the bonuses that Barcelona have agreed with Griezmann

I'm surprised by the price range of Bazoer. He's magnificent playing out from the back (YT comp)

I realise it was edited, but I appreciate the way you wrote this Transfer Tweet post. Well done!

Thanks! The Dumfries - Everton meeting was retweeted garbage abusing a good journo's name. I edited the post with up-to-date info from said journo.

That went under the radar

Actually, I only wanted to leave a tweet of him having his medical today, when the transfer was announced right after I posted.

The real winner in the Stengs deal is AZ Alkmaar. Invisible in big matches and not very productive (7 goals, 5 assists in 30 games). He's your typical talented, fair-weather player. 15 million is a lot for a club with a ~25 million total budget.

Signing of the summer. One of the best goalkeepers at the age of the 22y with a free transfer.

Not disagreeing with the quality of a player Donarumma is, but the free transfer part I do. A big salary, I expect huge agent fees....the main thing for me, imahine if we had of done this deal, obviusly delighted at who we signed, but the trust and loyalty part I wouldnt be confident in, or his reasons for coming in the first place. To me it feels like meeting a girl and finding out she is in a relationsip and cheating and you get together.....back of your mind, always that thougth she could do it to you too.

Good move for him. Wouldn't mind seeing Elanga going over there on loan to replace him either

I havent seen anything of him but had the idea he was massively rated, maybe Im wrogn but I thought he would have goen to a bigger club

Griezmann does not want to start training with Barcelona; he just wants to go to Atletico Madrid

Barcelona haven't received an offer for the Frenchman

The transfer is expected to be a straight swap [with Saúl] and nothing more

Barcelona is one of the 7 teams that exceeds the salary limit by ~200 million Euros

La Liga wants to know the prices of both Griezmann and Saúl

If Barcelona transfers Griezmann for less than 72 million [Euros], La Liga will consider it a loss

EDIT: The player valuations will matter significantly for Barcelona. If this is structured as a straight swap, then La Liga will value the players themselves via their own assessments. If the swap is recorded as a loss for Barcelona, the club could have their salary cap lowered further in future seasons.

Put the other one in the edit now, was basically the same as the deleted.

And this:

Do you mind if I post the original Tweet?

Is El Transistor as reliable as Chilevision?
You might be memeing, but just in case you aren't, El Transistor is a show by Onda Cero, who are very reliable when it comes to Spanish football news.

He seems to be a bit of an idiot, who pissed away his career?! If I remember correctly he didn't leave Ajax under the best of circumstances, Wolfsburg wasn't happy with his attitude either and I think even at Vitesse he got dropped because of his attitude as well. The video looks nice though.

I highly doubt we'd give him a raise from like 10k to 60k after 1 season. It's most likely 40k up to 60k if he's starting regularly and he hasn't been since he signed.
I would think that as well, but then I remember we have extended Mata's contract with 160K per week a couple of times so sky's the limit with our board.

I believe Mata's last contract with us was 125k per week, and the one now has to be lower, though I haven't seen any reliable numbers yet.

(Why does it have to be lower? Cause we had the option to extend by one year for the same terms as his last one. Instead we negotiated a new deal.)

Edit: Looked up old articles on Williams, he was on a £4k a week which felt unfair compared to his peers when he started playing so many matches for us. His new deal was/is 40k rising to 60k with bonuses. Which is quite fair since at the time of his deal he was considered a regular starter. But he seems to have almost regressed since. I really hope he gets a season on loan with regular starts.

Who would have thought giving a 60k per week contract to a player who is not a consolidated first team member would come to bite us?

Couldn't been known, bad luck.
Poor poor management. If those were his demands we should have said no, half a season didn’t warrant it. He will be here forever now.

Can see him at Burnley in a couple of years and eventually making an appearance with his Mrs on Cheshire housewives.

I’m not sure you can copyright acting like nob.
