If this is true surely they've realised Dortmund won't sell Haaland. Not in a million years can Chelsea drop 250 million on two players without serious breeches of FFP and risking expulsion from the Champions League.

Chelseas name has been thrown around all summer. This is just more of the same nonsense

Offers coming from the Premier League for the jewels of #Inter. Liverpool and Man Utd can reach up to 70 for Nicolò Barella.

And #Tottenham is on the attack for Milan Skriniar: offer already on the Nerazzurri's table

They probably earned around that amount last season just in prize/table money

Pretty sure FFP has been ruled to be nonsense no ?

I would take Barella in a heartbeat but that's not happening. He'd have to be seriously dragged out the door at internazionale kicking and screaming .

I'm pretty sure its one or the other not both, Dortmund won't sell so they move on to another target that Juventus won't sell, they're starting to sound like Utd at the start of Eds reign. Being linked with lots of big money players only to end up with a cheap alternative.

Been said for a while that Inter’s assets are up for sale. They are in a bit of bother.

It's always harder to get Italians to leave Serie A. I agree that looks incredibly unlikely. Be a fantastic replacement for Pogba though if in the very unlikely event it could be done.

This wouldn't make much sense for us? Telles hasn't been great but he's a good back-up, we'd have to go out and find someone else for a squad option (Williams needs a loan, I don't really trust him yet)

Clearly wants first team football and with Shawberto Carlos in his way he'd be better of leaving tbf.
We don't have a backup, an injury to Shaw and we're in trouble. We can't afford to let him leave, besides Roma only want him on loan until Spinazzola recovers.

Oh I'm with you all the way there. We'd want him to stay for sure. But if a player wants first team football then they usually leave even if on loan.

I'd be hugely surprised if he wants to stay here as an understudy to Shaw. He's a Brazilian international.

Yeah, talks can often mean just an inquiry from their side

Knowing the Italian clubs, they will only want a loan with an option to buy which they will never in the end take up. I say feck them and keep the player until we actually receive an official bid of money for him, 10M minimum will be a good start

Barella is a diehard Inter fan though. He rejected Juve and AC a few times to finally get his dream move.

Inter fans will also go apesh*t if he's forced out.

If he wants first team football he won't be going to Roma, as soon as Spinazolla's fit again, Telles will be on the bench. Doubt he's going anywhere tbh.

Give us our money for Lukaku first turn we'll talk Barella

Think we have a long standing interest in Nuno Mendes although Sporting are asking a king’s ransom for him which I doubt would be feasible this summer.

Brandon Williams on 40k a week, this club is crazy. Also read rumours we will offer Lingard even more money to stay as opposed to him leaving on a free. What he's on now... £5m a year at least? I'd take £15-20m for Lingard, £30m is a very high amount for someone who had a good 6 months in his last 24, is 29 in December and has only one year left on his contract.

If we need funds sell now, no one will want him next summer with a longer contract and even higher wages.

Trippier will probably join who can cover the LB and RB spots.

That would be good. But if Roma are indicating they only want a loan then I doubt they're gonna be able to offer a decent fee for a permanent deal.

Like him to stay but he's been underwhelming.

That's not a surprise, he looked well out of his depth whenever given an chance and that's generally been against weaker opposition as well.

I'd rather Williams understudy for Shaw myself, he looked a good prospect the season before.

He’s a bang average player but we’d basically have no back up at either right back or left back if we let him leave. If there was a circumstance where it made sense, I’d have nothing against us selling though.
That's an inaccurate sum up of the player.
He might not be the best defender or the fastest full back, but he's a good footballer, technically astute.
In his last three seasons with Porto he has double digits for goal involvements (G+A). And the season prior he has 9.
That's a pretty good return. The Portuguese league while not the in the top 5 leagues, is probably in the top 6 leagues. And he was playing regularly. On top of that as soon as he came Shaw got in the form of his life. I doubt we can find a player that brings as much as Telles for the same money we brought him in.

The only way Telles leaving this summer is if he demands game time that can't be guaranteed and that's his only priority. With the world cup around the corner I can imagine he wants to fight for a spot in the Brazilian team.
