SSN comparing stats with new and former players  reminds me of the days in the school playground comparing your Pokemon card stats with your mate.

I genuinely can't believe they're doing it. It's beyond amateurish.

Saying that, even on the BBC's deadline day page they have a Football Manager Expert giving his opinion on dealings. I'm not joking. And a Fantasy Football Champion. What the shit is going on?!

I bet Jim white is gutted. This really has turned out to be a damp squib of a deadline day. No drama, no huge breaking news, no Harry Redknapp hanging out of a car door.

It all begs the question... Is transfer deadline day dead? :D:lol:

Defender Regan Poole allowed to talk to United.

Villa sign Joleon Lescott

Is anyone else completed baffled by the transfer deadline day live blog on our site? Why start it today? Seems so strange.

Why start a transfer deadline day on transfer deadline day? No idea... Should've made it 3 weeks ago.

West Ham sign Michcail Antonio. Busy hammers.

Watford sign Obbi Oulare.

It's been a quiet one this year hasn't it? Weird that we haven't announced Martial too....

Boring as hell.

I thought West Brom would try and Klingon to him.
He was Worf keeping.

Villa looking decent. Hoping Sherwood can get them a midtable finish this year.

This whole day is a complete joke, and the idea that people sit there watching Sky all day (and look forward to it for days/weeks in advance) is sad.

We all knew Sky were bad, but the BBC are catching up. They have a Football Manager expert who posts stuff like this:

"A classic poacher, this Congolese striker is quick and has good acceleration, finishing, and technique. He’s weak in the air, though, which would possibly see him benefit from playing alongside a target man on support. In FM15 he languishes in the TSG Evian reserves and would only cost £300,000 plus a few add-ons.

"In FM, his career doesn’t reach the headiest of heights, ending up with a modest tally of goals in Bulgaria. Maybe Championship clubs should look elsewhere."

...

Surely mourinho would have played him over one of Cahill/Terry

Well obviously he would have gone straight into the team. However, its strange to be bidding for him after already signing Djilobodji and Hector earlier today.

Don't like my humour?
They bombed our chippy! Is that better?

Are you scousers in for any signings?

I'm a Brummie :D And no, I don't think so. I'd love for us to go drop £25m on Koeman's desk and drive away with Wanyama, but it doesn't look likely.

I lived in Walsall for a while. I used to manage a comic shop there.

I'm living in Walsall at the moment - I've probably been to said shop  Behind the Works?

It's been gone for many years. It was called Nowhere Comics. It was in the mews next to a cafe. The owner was a Liverpool fan as well. I was the idiot that ended up on the news for changing my name by deed poll to Bat Man. I never actually did it.

Was it in the little shopping centre by the works at the bottom of town? That's the only one I can remember, to be honest.

And you should've went through with it!
